Woodson Stonefire — Restaurant in Missouri

I picked this place for 2 reasons, #1 it's new, we've never had it & wanted to give them a shot & #2 the reviews are awesome! In life, I prefer the bad news first & the good last so it ends on a good note. I wanted to find my new go-to place that's not some corporate. I really wanted to love this place.

We order the toasted ravioli, we got the 24 piece, it only came with 1 sauce & when ordering online there's no option to ask for more/extra sauce. I'm a dipper & that was upsetting. But turns out the sauce wasn't at all flavorful so I used some sauce & ranch I had here at home. Most of them were overcooked, for example, they were extra dark on the edges & very crunchy.

For our first pizza we got the Carnivore, pizza wasn't so bad, my fiance didn't really care for it (he's am Imo's thin crust pizza guy) I didn't think it was terrible, again with the sauce, it was just rather, I guess, bland is the best was to explain it.

Now, when I saw this next pizza on the menu, I was super excited, bc I make these all the time, not just for get together. I picked the "Tickle my Pickle" unfortunately the pickle, salami & cream cheese ratio was less than perfect OR maybe better yet, this just isn't a good combination for a pizza.

For the amount of money we paid for it, it should've been one of the best meals I've ever had. ($70.24 for a LG Carnivore, personal Tickle my Pickle & 24 piece T-Rav)

Now for the good stuff:

The pizza crust is pretty much perfect, not too thick, not thin at all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The names of most of the menu items are cute & clever, I like that it's not so cookie cutter, someone actually took the time to come up with catchy names. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The note on the pizza box was not only personable & thoughtful, it was super nice & made it like it came from a place that knew me, like family or like it was written from the heart & expressed the person's/establishments true appreciation. I used to do this kind of stuff when I was in the restaurant industry. Which made me think that had we dined in, it would have been a great experience, atmosphere & all around a really good...

My family was looking forward to a pizza night that was something different, something good and darn if we didn't get it! Out of 5 people, the consensus was a solid 9.5 / 10 rating. Please try this place out!!!

Like many others I know, the general consensus on pizza night falls to one of the many major franchises out there, but those places are expensive, sub-par quality, and outright just bad for health.

Woodson Stonefire is a small quaint family owned and operated business tucked away in a little shopping Plaza of St. Charles. While you may not be able to book a seat in the restaurant to enjoy your amazing meal, freshly cooked, with the care and attention you could only find at home. This place will leave you wishing to come back for the atmosphere. You can really tell the owner, Rick, cares about the quality of the food he produces. The staff is very friendly, the smell in the air is amazing, and every box that comes out of there comes with a friendly handwritten message. Just have a look at all the other reviews! They offer their own original recipes and even the ability to purchase their homemade marinara sauce to spice up your own at home cooking.

I truly hope this family run business blows up to be a local favorite and something everyone can enjoy sharing with their friends and family. update after 5 months of loving this place This place got me through the second half of my pregnancy. I craved the wings daily, and sent my husband to go get them constantly lol, quality is always spot on, the seasoning on the wings is incredible! My husband still is obsessed with their classic cheese pizza! We love when guest come over and we get to show them our favorite spot! We had the in-laws in from NY after the baby was here and for 2 more New Yorkers seal of approval. The sweet notes on the boxes have made my days in the postpartum times. Pizza night cannot come soon enough in my house! You guys have truly mastered the art of great food and outstanding customer service! Wishing you years and years of success!!!

Found this spot last week when I was craving wings, got a personal pizza and some boneless wings and fell in love!
