The calamari is very bland and watery tasting. It was freshly cooked, hot and well battered, however there was absolutely no seasoning on it! I even sprinkled some salt on it and it still tasted bland. (Please note that I am usually a person that avoids salt.) The french fries tasted really "potato-ee". The shrimp and oysters were good and the seasoning was well balanced, however on a $10 plate (about $9.89) I only received 3 of each and a whole bunch of fries. The calamari was about $10 as well. The homemade cocktail sauce was really good. There were these little fried round things included with the calamari. They were a bit tart and reminded me of miniature fried green tomatoes. They were yummy. At least the calamari was not greasy and it was not chewy. It was just right and tender. The oysters are fresh and tender not gummy at all. The employees were kind.

The first time I wanted to call it in to do take-out but unfortunately they don't allow that. You would have to order there and wait there till it's ready. So I went there during lunch, the prices are good and they do offer daily specials. I ordered the catfish plate which comes with fries & a side (requested no hushpuppies). The portions were a good amount, I liked the taste of the fish but I wasn't pleased with the batter on the catfish because it flakes off easily. I ordered fried okra as my side and those came out really good. If they have a better ordering system, like being able to pre-pay online for pick-up, I think it'll make the business more successful.

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I ordered takeout. I went with the crawfish poboy, which usually comes with fries, but I substituted the fries for hush puppies. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the portion size—I received only three hush puppies. If I had known, I probably would’ve just stuck with the fries. That said, the poboy itself was quite good, with plenty of crawfish, even enough to eat on the side. Overall, it’s worth giving this place a try, but next time I’ll know to ask for extra hush puppies.

My brother and I came in and it was a train wreck from the start. There was water in the floor and I almost fell, the crawfish weren’t ready, ok we can wait 10 minutes. When they came out, I ordered 4 lbs. my brother ordered 3. They brought my food but not his, even tho we watched them weigh both our bags. After 30 minutes my brother asked for a refund. They insisted his food was coming. They finally brought it and it was someone else’s order. Not a crawfish in the order! He took it back and asked for a refund again. The manager was happy to give it, and tried to find out where the breakdown happened. No one had a clue! As far as the crawfish…mind-numbingly hot!!! No flavor at all, just HOT! Oh and the gumbo my husband ordered was like GLUE. But if you ARE daring enough to order gumbo, you have to order rice separately! The rice comes in the same size as the gumbo! Who eats that much rice with gumbo.?? Needless to say, we will never come there again!! I wish I could...

Oh, the first experience was superb. The boil was wonderful. Nothing was old, and the house sauce was amazing. However, kids these days are so high strong and unable to multi-task. They forget so fast then act as if it's the customers' fault. I told the cashier she didn't give me drinks. She said I didn't order i, which is a lie because when I asked for one, she asked me if I wanted a fountain or a bottle. I said grapico. She said she didn't ring it up, so I said cool don't worry about it." Got to the car, and I realized I didn't have my corn, eggs, or potatoes. I went back in because I wasn't leaving without that. She tells me I need your recipe. I advised that she go back on the screen or camera or something because she had thrown my receipts in the trash. I paid 94.00$ in cash. I assumed I didn't need it,but I know now I will keep my receipts. I hate poor customer service when it's because of the customer that you're making money. Other than that I would have...
