Moe's Original BBQ — Restaurant in Mobile

Every time I go(used to be 2-3 times a week for months) I spend 12$ for a chicken sandwich meal(a small sandwich, 2 sides and a drink) and end up eating 75% of the sandwich(the rest thrown out because it consists of fat, black meat and bones) then maybe eat the sides. I say maybe because half of the time(literally half of the time) the sides are awful. Either the baked beans seem like they're days old, the mac n cheese dry and rubbery, the okra soggy wet, the mashed potatos salty, etc. Everytime I have been disappointed with atleast one thing. People will ask "Why go back for so long?" Simple answer there are no other drive thrus around where you can get food that isn't greasy, nasty fast food. I have tried other items on the menu besides the chicken sandwich and they are awful. The chicken is the only bearable menu item besides the chicken tenders. I am writing this to say, I'm done. I will not be returning because the food is trash, especially for the price. I could justify eating maybe half the meal because the rest is basically inedible for 6$ but the meals are 11.50$ after tax. So long! Smokeys BBQ in...

Let me first start by saying I absolutely love the location on Dauphin Street so I figured since I live out West Mobile that I would try the Airport Blvd location. I purchased a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, potato salad and a Root Beer. I was highly disappointed with my food. The meat on the sandwich was slightly cold and the sauce was so thin it soaked my bread and it was falling apart. The sauce was not good it was too thin and runny. The baked beans were okay but it had other particles in it that I could not identify. The potato salad looked beautiful but when I tasted it...it had no type of flavor to it. My root beer was flat...when I looked in the cup you could see mainly water sitting at the top and the drink mixture itself was at the bottom as if the cup had set up for a while on a counter. I came in through the drive through and I just don't plan on coming back to that location. Im not sure if it was a bad day for them or what but I was not pleased. I did a drive thru order and wanted a pulled pork sandwich with only white bbq with a side of mac and extra white bbq sauce and for some reason they just could not comprehend that. I order the same thing every time i go. When i got my order i had no extra sauce, as well as it looked as if they dabbed the slightest bit of white bbq sauce on the sandwich. I don’t know if this is just because they are incompetent or if it was out of spite, but for $20 there is no reason the order can’t be correct. While the food was good, would have been better with sauce, i am still disappointed with the lack of care for the making of the order. You literally have it printed out for how it’s supposed to be. Not to mention the wait was 10+ minutes for the order to be messed up. I wouldn’t care if the order was correct and looked like someone cared. So if you plan on going i wouldn’t stray from the designated menu setup or you may get the wrong thing. Hell they probably can’t do the standard sandwich correct. I most likely won’t...
