Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Mobile

I didn’t spend any money, ONLY thing I got was my ENTIRE lunch break was USED and I still didn’t get any food 🤬 I have been to the Sonic on Cottage Hill and Hillcrest and they have yet to disappoint me or my son, but I definitely can’t say the same for this Sonic on Springhill. I pull into at least 3 drive ups and had to go to another before I finally Parker in the handicap spot thing surely this one will work! Oh how I was WRONG 😭😭 I stated my order I wanted 2 soft pretzels a medium ocean water, and a medium tots all fresh, so I’m thinking that the girl is getting my order so I wanted for about 5 or so minutes since I asked for my food to be FRESH and HOT, then as TIME went on maybe another 4 minutes May have passed and I’m like ok I came well before 2 pm, so I was like ok 2:10 I know my food should be done by NOW but NOPE once I hit the order button again the same girl answered and her reply was what was your order, ok NOW at this point I’m upset bc it’s pass 2 o’clock which is happy hour and my order still wasn’t taken! So I just drive off when I push to order again. Sonic on Cottage Hill and Hillcrest would NEVER. I will also upload one of the employee with their hands on the her hips talking to another not sure if it was a customer or her coworker, and with all this going on nobody still came to see if I needed something or communicated with me about the speaker not working! Been twice in the past week or two, The first incident, my card would not scan in the screen reader, so I sent it with the bellhop to scan. The next morning, I had three instances of fraud that my bank had caught, all within a few hours of the Sonic visit. Maybe coincidence, but that card is not used frequently enough for another culprit to be likely.

Today, I decided to give them another chance because the card thing was possibly a fluke. I ordered two 4 count mozz sticks and two large cokes, both with different flavors. This was through the app so that this local Sonic had no access to my card info. I checked in to my booth when I pulled up and the screen immediately told me that my order was on its way to me. Shortly thereafter, the screen cleared out. 10 minutes later I buzzed the red button and asked if my order had been forgotten (they were not busy) and the girl on the line very abruptly cut me off and said to "wait a second" then ended the connection. 10 minutes after that, the bellhop came out with just the mozz sticks, no soda. I asked for the soda as well and showed my mobile receipt. He returned with one cup full of what I assume to be soda water with a pump or two of cherry, and the other cup looked like coke, but had so much flavor syrup that the lid had already stained red and the first sip tasted like cough syrup.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The absolute worst sonic location I have ever been to! Every time I come here there is a problem with my order and I am met with rude attitudes from the employees and managers. Yesterday I went to get two drinks and mozerells sticks. The girl came to the car without the mozzarella sticks claiming that they were “still cooking” and then proceeds to hand us a half full drink with no ice and syrup all running down the cup and a strawberry limeade that looked like plain sprite with no strawberry’s. When I asked if she could put more ice and fix the limeade we were met with more attitude. She goes back inside fills up the cup without putting ice in it still and brings the “sprite” to the car again along with the mozzarella sticks. At that point I didn’t want the drinks because this was still not what I wanted. When I asked to just pay for the mozzarella sticks the girl goes back inside with the drinks and a guy comes back to say “give them back” referring to the mozzarella sticks. I didn’t know you were able to give back food as I already had the food in my possession and I was willing to pay for it.
