My Lord where do I start! I understand it's a new opening and some things can go wrong. But seriously some of the people working there are from the other restaurant so this is nothing new to them. We were seated, our waitress came over and introduced herself, there were two of us we both ordered iced tea one unsweetened, one sweetened this was somewhat of a small undertaking for her to comprehend. When she brought our tea back, instead of asking what we would like to order, she said, "what do you want" okay got it uneducated about table manners. We placed our order, before she could write the ticket she said she did not know how to spell an item. (Most waitresses or waiters would have just wrote the ticket and when they got back to the kitchen looked at a menu and filled in the areas in which they did not know how to spell). Our meal came, first my friend said his calamari was wonderful could find no fault. I had Meatball Parmesan, I think they were meatballs? the spaghetti was not drained properly all the excess water made the sauce as if it was soup on my plate. I did bring this to be waitresses attention. The basket bread served with our meal was without doubt one of the best breads around. Baked properly, texture was incredible, reminded me of the bread in Italy. Bravo on the bread. There is no way you can convince me any one of the cooks are Italian. We waited approximately 5 to 7 minutes for our bill why the waitresses talked together. We were never asked if we needed anything once they put down our plates we were on our own. We finally interrupted their conversation and asked for ticket. She asked if it was together I said yes, I went up to the register to pay for it, the same lady who just brought us the ticket. I paid no problem, I started to walk away and she said I needed to pay for the calamari, I said you just asked me if both were together and I said yes.. She said she was sorry and rang up another ticket. (They have a salad and pizza bar, we were therefore just about an hour or so and the pizza that set their was never changed) I don't believe I will go back not worth the money nor the un-appropriate...
Read moreMarco’s is still our go-to pizza place, but their lack of consistency has been really disappointing. We were so excited to have moved into their delivery range, and our first pizza was INCREDIBLE. Cooked to perfection, great flavor. We knew we had to order again for our out of town visitors. We were so disappointed with the quality of our pizza after talking it up to them. It was soggy, greasy, overall hard to eat. We’ve ordered a few times since then and it isn’t always bad, but not great either. We are 8.5 miles from their location, and sometimes they say they’ll deliver, other times we’ve been told that we’re out of their delivery range. This most recent time ordering was extremely soggy, so much that the toppings completely slid right off my slice when I picked it up. The next day, (who doesn’t love cold pizza?) I expected it to be better after staying in the fridge but it was so stuck to the bottom of the box that I couldn’t even pick up a slice without it ripping apart. We haven’t had the best dine-in experiences either, I’ve been served brown salad and food with the ticket literally in the plate. We can usually count on the wings to be great but they’re no longer what we’re used to either. I really love Marco’s and they have so much potential, I hope...
Read moreI found this place by complete accident. But what a happy accident. I ordered sweet tea, Jalapeño Stuffed peppers, and Chicken Marsala. The sweet tea was a pleasant surprise as it was honey sweetened tea. The Jalapeño Peppers were amazing as I could easily tell they used a high quality cheddar cheese! Now the Chicken Marsala is the star of the show, at first look I saw very little parmesan on it but the dish comes with in house bread and parmesan so that you could add more as you wished. Let me tell you, this dish was an example of the most impressive Italian cuisine I have ever eaten. The broth was flavorful and rich. the noodles were springy and light that left a pleasant mouth feel. The chicken itself I could tell was charcoal cooked and very fresh. I spoke with the owner to talk about how impressed I was with the dishes and the freshness. He told me they pride themselves on procuring the freshest ingredients possible and was of course pleased that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. All in all do not come here looking for cheap Italian food. Come here looking to experience REAL Italian cuisine! TL:DR The best Italian food I have ever...
