Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Mocksville

I stopped by this location with a couple of friends. When we went through the drive thru, we were told to hold on. Assuming the store had been busy, we happily waited. This wait turned into quite a long one. We originally wanted to place two separate orders but after the first was completed, before I had a chance to say anything, I was hurriedly told to pull around. We attempted to tell them before pulling forward, we had another order. No one would come back to the speaker. Finally, I pull forward after realizing no one was concerned we were still sitting there. The cashier opened the window and blurted out my total and was obviously triggered by me having another order. I told him we attempted to order it at the speaker but he cut me off. He asked what the second order was and shut the window as soon as I was done ordering. We again waited for quite a long time while all of the employees joked and threw things around the kitchen. The cashier was complaining to his coworkers when he opened the window again and while I can’t be sure it was about us, there was no one else in line behind or in front of us he could have been talking about. He rudely gave us the second order and kept telling us we would need to wait for the first order. After finally getting all of our food, he apathetically told us to have a good one and shut the window. There was no reason for the staff to behave in such a rude manner. As much as i hate leaving less than good reviews, i have to do just. One week ago, I was down and out with my 3rd round of Covid. Having not eaten all day, my fiance said about getting shakes from Sonic in Mocksville. Sure, why not? Cuz ice-cream always make you feel better. She ordered me the Reeses Blast, she got the strawberry cheesecake shake and the kid got a plain milkshake. She got home, handed out the treats, only to find my blast had not one single piece of Reeses anything nor even a hint of peanut butter...plain vanilla. Her strawberry cheesecake shake was nothing more than vanilla with what looked to be about two squirts of strawberry flavoring on the BOTTOM of the cup. Not even enough to really make it taste like strawberry when stirred up.

Our receipt had our exact order correct, the staff on the other hand? Not so much!! Quite disappointing when you feel like you just crawled out of the morgue and just wanted that sweet treat to make you feel human again. Being 15 minutes from mocksville, going back was a waste of time and gas.

Again, quite disappointing when Sonic praises how amazing their frozen treats are and the first time in my life I eat from a Sonic, my order is messed up like i went to McDonalds. Do better Sonic, especially with something as simple...

Horrible service. Order is NEVER correct. They never want to fix their mistakes. Food doesn’t even taste good. Ordered on the app. Hardly any of the stalls work so you can’t check in on the app when you find one to pull into. Went to the handicap stall can’t check in on the app there either. So I pushed the red button to let them know I’m there for my order. Waited an hour. Tried to push the red button and didn’t get a response. Then went to the drive through and got attitude. Was told to give my name and redo the order. I do so. No response. Pulled up to the window. Once again repeated myself about having waited over an hour for food. Provided my name. She closed the window. Never apologized. Came back with food bags and threw them. Yes threw them on the counter by the window. Another young man handed the food to us and apologized for the wait and for her behavior. I asked for her name. And he looked scared to give it to me. I thanked him for being polite. He said her name was “Jessie”, but he wasn’t really sure. This type of behavior from workers is unacceptable. The establishment needs fixed and people need to be hired that treat paying customers with respect. I won’t be back here again. Some actions are just inexcusable. Apparently the owners condone this type...
