As I drove from another county to have a light delicious half-deli sandwich for lunch - I reflected on my previous visit years ago, and why I made the effort to drive to Ketchie Creek Mocksville - - but it wasn't anything like my experience before. I ordered a half roast beef deli sandwich. One half piece of roast beef (eighth inch thickness, maybe)was on my deli sandwich. Served with a poor looking pickle spear hull. When I sat down outside to enjoy the sandwich, I lifted the bun to pepper the beef. Where's the beef? I thought this can't be right. Reluctantly took the half sandwich back inside to ask, is this correct, for a six dollar item? (no side or drink) I was immediately replied to by all the employees including an employee that was helping another customer which (hopefully they noticed how situations are handled), " that their portions were measured out." I was answered so quickly by all the employees I could tell, this question has been asked before. Since I was told by all employees - its apparent this is their standard. I told them I didn't want the food. I gave them opportunity to please a customer. The lady offered a refund & a cookie. That wasn't the point - I wanted a fair product - Ketchie Creek Bakery was once a fair priced lunch spot! The customer service was over & beyond expectations!! That's just how they did things! It isn't anymore. Sadly,I will not return to Mocksville or Clemmons locations. Beware if your a repeat customer of Ketchie Creek Bakery. they don't strive for good customer service was my...

It has been a few weeks since I last went in to Ketchie Creek Bakery 🥯🧁… I ordered the “Daily Special Ham & Roast Beef Sandwich 🥪 for $7.95 Someone else came in and had 3 sandwiches made while mine still hasn’t been started yet.. Just as the HAM is layered on I realized this sandwich could have been same price with ALL ROAST BEEF… I requested it to be switched - the ham was lifted off an laid back on sandwich board.. thinly sliced pieces of roast beef was then placed on bread.. it was then put on panini press to toast and melt the cheese.. Sandwich cut and delivered over to me. I get in my car - open sandwich to eat and seen it really DOES NOT have much meat on it.. took it back inside because I felt like it was only half of roast beef / ham… they removed ham and DID NOT REPLACE it with additional standard amount of roast beef… Girl said - YES IT WAS REPLACED an meat is pre cut and measured accordingly…. All meat moved to 1/2 of bread - 🥖 NOT THIS TIME IT WAS NOT… Live and learn…. A ROAST BEEF SLIDER from Arby’s had more meat for only a $1 during happy hour….
DONT ORDER SANDWICHES 🥪 FROM HERE…
IF THEY MAKE AN ERROR, THEY MOST CERTAINLY WANT OWN UP TO IT…. Or that time...
Read moreI have always wanted to try this upscale bakery in downtown Mocksville. I recently had the chance to meet its newest owner and thought I'd give it a try. As I suddenly realized I did not have a birthday cake for my husband's birthday. The store itself is cute with bakèry themed items and a display filled with tempting treats. As I waited for writing on my cake, I viewed the cards, and the first card I picked had a dead fly stuck inside it! At first, I thought it was a punch line. I didn't get it, but it was not. I was then called to pick up my cake and asked to view the writing on it, and was a little disappointed. Regardless, I brought the cake to the dinner celebration, and it was enjoyed by all who found it moist and delicious. I did not enjoy the frosting myself. But the cake was quickly eaten and another year was celebrated. Overall, I would purchase some of the items in the store. But maybe go for more of the display...
