Ah Huevo — Restaurant in Modesto

Being a content creator we drove from Sacramento to check this place out and get a video for our YouTube and TikTok, but that was a FAIL. First off it was hot in the building idk if the AC went out but it was uncomfortable that should have been our sign to leave. Second, they totally forgot our drinks. No mimosas and not even WATER, until AFTER OUR FOOD CAME (40 min later) I was hot and dyeing of thirst and in those 40 minutes being seated not one person came to check on us. I Kept looking to get the workers attention but nope, not one looked at us the entire time sitting there thirsty af.

The 3 girls and 1 guy that were working in the front were just standing around the whole time talking. Atleast they were having a good time! . I don’t think I saw them check on annnnny of the tables! They were just hanging out basically lol! Nice easy money lol

And one lady blonde with her hair in a bun, looked like a manager by the way she was just at the computer, when I told her I hadn’t got my drinks she didn’t even apologize or anything, she had a ugly mean look on her face. And just said “oh” and walked away, another 10 min go by then I get my drinks, almost an hour later. It’s Not my fault u work there girl in the heat, just bring me my damn drinks.

The food was OK, but since the service was the absolute WORSE, and they forgot our drinks and didn’t even seem sorry about it, we will never go back here. And yes I’m telling TikTok and YouTube about...

After a wait of 40 minutes which i think is fair if there is alot of people outside, thats expected. I waited. But then i was told that one of the cooks did not come and that it would be another 25 minites before we can be seated while I saw plain tables inside and outside. I asked to be seated even though i knew the wait. All i wanted was some water since we had been standing in the sun. After sitting down, we were approached by our waited who said she coould take our order for drinks. After asking a couple questions, she was plainly rude, cut, and dry. No smile at all, this is what made us leave since we thought of how much we would spend. Plates are expensive which i would gladly pay if the food was good but I feel like the service was the start and my experience . It did not go good at all. Everyone around me did not have any food which told me my wait might be a little longer. Decided to leave and hit the Texas Rooadhouse with no wait! Thanks Texas. Eating steak as we speak while everyone else is still sitting...

Very beautiful restaurant. I brought my family here for dinner because I had already been to the same one but in Stockton. I ordered the same thing I ordered at the Stockton location but the difference was huge. Here my food was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. I mentioned it to the waiter and she told me it said it was spicy on the menu and when I asked to see the menu she couldn’t find it. I told her that I’d just prefer my refund and the tab so we could leave and she said she can’t give one, the only the she could do was make another but she can’t take away the spice. Made no sense to me but because I didn’t speak Spanish and she could barely under me, I just left it at that and paid for something I did not eat. The couple bites I did have of my sushi gave me the worst stomach ache I’ve had in a while. Felt like food poisoning, not sure if it was the crazy amount of spice or bad sea food. Service is horrible. The best part about it is all the paintings on the wall.
