Dude, we tried the rotisserie chicken with fried yuca, French fries, and salad, and it was seriously so good. The chicken was super juicy inside, crispy on the outside—like, perfect. And that homemade ají sauce? Wow. Spicy, flavorful, and just takes the whole thing to another level. You’ve gotta try it!
The people at Al Carbon are awesome, too. They were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s not just the food, though—the vibe there is so chill and welcoming, like you’re eating at a friend’s place.
If you’re ever in Modesto, you have to check this place out. Great food, great people—it’s one of those spots you’ll keep...
Read moreI visited in mid-August after hearing great things from a friend, and this place did not disappoint so I came back on Tuesday and just as the first time, it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly—the chicken was juicy and the aji sauce was the perfect touch. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy even though it was lonely. Truly delicious, authentic Peruvian food that deserves way more attention. Read moreTried the ceviche at Al Carbón Pollos A La Brasa and it was so good! Super fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice, I told the cashier not too spicy and it was made just right! You can tell they use quality ingredients.
Also, the service was great! The woman at the cashier was really friendly and helped me pick my dish, she definetly made the whole experience even better. I heard about this place from Modesto View and came to try it after my shift.
Definitely coming back...
