Everything about this food truck seems amazing until you actually taste the food. I kept it simple I ordered some lumpia one of my favorite things in the whole wide world to eat and to snack on that I enjoy very much with my wife. That is not what we got we got what looked to be the perfect looking Lumpia and then we took a bite into it and we realized why there was nobody outside this food truck.
Frozen vegetables mixed in with what seemed like pieces of pork barely any Pork. absolutely disappointing. So yes you're going to pay for an overpriced lumpia 3 for $5 Any real Filipino would be insulted because great lumpia is filled with meat and fried it's the most simple thing in the world to make yet this place fails miserably to produce it. And then I thought I can talk to the young man in the window just tell him you know what we didn't like it very much do you think maybe we can try something else because we bought 2 orders so one order is already going to completely go to waste and he said I'm sorry there's nothing I can do for you but let me remind you that after I paid for what's the worst lumpia I've ever had in my life I didn't think lumpia can ever be bad but it definitely is here. He had the audacity to say if i'd like to leave a tip it wasn't nothing much couple of bucks but I'm reminded of why are we tipping for nothing.
Anyways back to the point I'm making I asked him if we have a chicken stew or something else because we didn't enjoy the food we had ordered and he said I'm sorry there is nothing I can do to help you. I did remind him that I am going to be writing a review as he sure there was nothing he can do he said right your review there's nothing I can do to help you so here's my review.
Long story short save your money I know we're going through some tough times right now but when you start charging more money and giving a worse product you're only hurting yourself and your reputation and I would hope this place would read this review and change their wicked ways But like most mediocre places they're okay with just getting by and I don't give them more than a year before they close...
Read moreWorst Filipino food I've ever eaten. Way too expensive. $2 for 1 small scoop of old, drying rice?? Lumpia? Not what you would be served in any other Filipino diner. These are 'shang-hai'. Which means what you think. You got taken advantage of. About 3" long and the thickness, and texture, of a mushy pencil. And service with an attitude. No real plates or cutlery. Drinks served in a can. It reminded me of a sidewalk eatery with indoor seating. They have a nice karaoke setup, though. But, I don't go to a 'restaurant' (I use the term loosely) for karaoke. That seems more like a drinking establishment activity. I am married to a lovely lady from the Philippines who could make better food with leftovers and a hangover. Just save your money and order...
Read moreFinally a Filipinoi restaurant that any Filipino Auntie would approve. If you are new to Filipino food stick with chicken or pork adobo and pancit. If you are adventurous , just ask the friendly staff to explain the dishes in behind the display case. Lot's of room to dine in. They play Filipino music which is awesome! Now, if they could turn it down a notch, that would be great. Parking is ample - park in the back as parking in the front is limited and can be tricky to get out. Lumpia is fried fresh when you order - so don't burn your mouth as you drive home. If you order Crispy Pata - expect a wait time. You can call your order ahead of time to avoid the wait. They also serve...
