I wouldn't even give this place a star but because it's required it gets 1. The person behind the register was awful. Extremely poor customer service. I ordered a breakfast burrito and horchata. The person stated that it would be approximately 15-20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes before going back in to see how much longer it would be. The person stated they're finishing it up now. I said, "let me have the horchata while I continue to wait, and maybe some chips and salsa". The person stated, "we don't have it (horchata) cause we didn't get the ingredients". I said, "why did you allow me to order it and charge me for it"? The person copped and attitude and gave me the chips and salsa and said, "get whatever drink you want, it's on the house". I said, "I already paid for an horchata how is it on the house". I got the chips, salsa and Jarrito. Went back outside for an additional 10 minutes. Returned to get the burrito and it still wasn't ready. Waited 10 more minutes before saying "cancel the order. This is ridiculous". The person said, "it's coming out now". I said, "it's too late". He bagged it and handed it to me. I decided to give the burrito a try to see if it was the worth the wait. Unfortunately, it was not... the burrito was nasty. The entire experience was a waste of time, energy and money. WHAT A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. AVOID THIS PLACE...
Read moreFrida’s Taqueria is such a cute and delicious little spot. I love seeing their Frida Kahlo theme all throughout, and even outside, the restaurant. The details they put into it shows their love for the business. Even the bathroom was to theme and beautiful. They are on top of cleanliness as well. They have a good variety of menu items and the portions are pretty big. It is a bit on the pricey side but honestly it’s worth it, in our opinion. We have tried their menudo, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas, and quesabirrias. The meat is flavorful and their sauces are spicy and delicious. The food comes with radishes and pickled onions which is nice as well don’t see these in most restaurants anymore unless requested. My go to is their mulitas de pastor and shrimp or quesabirrias. They offer aguas frescas and they are good as well. If you dine in they will provide chips and salsa while you wait for your food. The service is slow, usually because it is only one person running counter and order taking, but everyone working there is very nice and will jump in when they can to serve customers. The parking isn’t the best as it shares with other businesses and the lot...
Read moreI was very excited for this place since is down the street from where I live, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and my drink I purchased. I went in with a friend after I noticed the "Opening soon" sign having been taken down. I bought a Torta de Carne Asada and Horchata drink. First let me began by saying that my torta was extremely dry, and the only thing in it was the carne asada, two tomatoes and some Jalapeños. Hardly anything for the asking price and the bread they use for the torta is not the big round bread that most places use, it was a smaller bread. The Horchata was the most disappointing thing from my order. The Horchata was so watered down that it was hardly sweet, simply put not flavorful at all. I'll be honest with you guys an instant horchata from a package would have had more flavor than the Horchata I drank that day. The only thing I did like was the girl helping out that day, she was very helpful and nice other than that my food and drink was terrible. Also, they do...
