Visited this place yesterday 5/14/23 with my lady for mothers day and I expected to be busy for the occasion, but it turned out to be pretty empty. Waitress came to us reasonably quick and took our drink order. Drinks took about 15 minutes to come out, then she took our order and it all went downhill from there. We waited for about 30 more minutes and only one plate out of 4 came out with our 2 ceviche tostadas. Our food was very simple so Iâm not sure why it was taking so long. 10 minutes later, my aguachile came out and we were still waiting on a quesadilla and a burrito. Another 5 minutes went by when I finally decided to get up and asked them to put them to go because I didnât even want to eat there anymore. After being at the restaurant for an hour, I finally got my order to go, the bill was $120 and all I was told after complaining to the manager/ host was sorry. Out of 15/ 20 tables they have, they only had people at 5 and they were not big groups. Very disappointed with their service. The food was ok but the service is horrible. I will not go...
Read moreService was just fine, they absolutely try to make you feel welcomed. My problem was with the ingredients and recipes for the "shrimp" enchilada dish I had. The rice was very bland, no matter how much salt you put on it after they bring it out to you it still lacks the appropriate flavor. They are cheap on the shrimp, and what I mean is that they used tiny pre-cooked-frozen shrimp that you could get at any store. WOW, very bland, lacking flavor, the consistency for what a shrimp enchilada should be was a wasted opportunity. How could you mess up such an easy dish? The only good thing on my plate was the beans and even that was served COLD so god knows how long that was out. I have a huge appetite and I usually finish any plate in front of me. I had most the plate unfinished and I didn't even want to take it home. I seriously feel robbed that I paid $18 for such horrible slop. That's why I'm giving this restaurant a 2 star rating because the food was horrible and so were the prices, but it's not the waitress fault that the cook is dealing with inferior...
