Taqueria El Maguey — Restaurant in Modesto

My son went to this place tonight He paid for 3 tacos and Two Burritos. One Burrito was vegan, and one was Carne Asada. When he got home They did NOT mark either burrito indicating which one had the meat and which one didn't have meat. So I had to cut one of them in half to see which one had meat in it. The burritos were half wrapped in foil. One was not even wrapped in foil so bad that it fell apart as soon as I took it out of the bag. They only gave us 3 Very small slices of Lime They didn't put any Jalapeno peppers in the bag. and they only gave us TWO very small containers of salsa. I will NEVER go back to this place again. Their service really does fall very short of any place ill go to again. Very bad service when they can't even mark what Burrito has meat and which one doesn't. This is JUST MY OPINION. I think it's still Legal to state your own opinion here in this country. I'm just giving MY opinion and I wont be going to this place again ever. Also when I took the first bite of MY carne asada Burrito the first bite had a piece of FAT in it that I had to spit out. It was so hard that I couldn't chew it. MY Opinion Only. Had dinner at Taqueria El Maguey last week with friends. We ate out front on the patio. Service was very good and 2 out of the 3 meals were very good. The 3rd meal was terrible , which was a chicken enchalada. The chicken was tiny pieces cut up in tiny chunks and extremely dry. We had never seen such a thing. The chili Verde was fine. For this reason I gave this restaurant 2 star rating. If you go don't order a chicken enchalada , they don't know how...

I cant believe how many high reviews this place has. Food had no flavor but what made it worse was our server. Completely unprofessional!! As we were ordering she walked away then still had the nerve to ask us a question about our order from behind the counter..even then she STILL didnt get our order rite!! On top of that she told some guy that wanted to apply that he couldn't because no men were aloud to work there..smh...will never go back...
