We thought we would give this place a shot last night and let me tell you we were not disappointed. For a Wednesday evening it was buzzing and we sat at a two person table and were asked by a lovely Albanian lady if we wouldn’t mind moving for they could make way for a party of 6, absolutely, no problem! The menu has something for everyone and not to busy and you can see what they offer is done right. The restaurant is nice and very clean a little dated but the ambiance and staff made up for that. They offer a nice salad bar and home made soups (complimentary with entree-dinner) I tried their potato soup and OMG…It was wonderful tasty and creamy as a good soup should be. My partner also tired their French onion soup and apparently they make a kick arse chicken noodle soup on Thursday’s. The only thing I’d change is offer a green leafy salad (also) instead of ice burg (American salad) it tends to go brown after a while and lack of taste or nutrients but also plenty to accommodate and careful you don’t full up on that before hand as all you can eat and generous portions of food. It’s a definitely for the soups!
After pondering I decided to try their ‘Brunch Burger’ as I absolutely love a fried egg on top and if done right which it was was it was absolutely delicious. My hamburger was cooker perfectly and little pink so not dried out. Two big slices of bacon (crisp) and cheese was melted and with LTOP. They complemented each other and nice big fat steak fries. I’d definitely eat this often. My partner had the roasted half chicken and asparagus and Mac and cheese. He said the chicken was so moist and tasty (good size also) All looked lovely and he said it was worth coming back for. I think they make their own bbq sauce and comes with a corn bread with honey topped and I shared it with him and I’d order that alone. Where we sat across was the fridge of delights the deserts a selection from carrot cake to caramel crunch and strawberry cheese cake.. I was very tempted! The lovely waitress said they are from a bakery in Chicago. These are another I want to try as looked lush. I saw a carrot cake go to a customer and generous portion (2 spoons) with vanilla ice cream 😋 I give this place a 10/10 🤩 and we will be back, In fact it may become a weekly return. We showed our kids the photos of our food and they also went and ordered the brunch burger same evening and gave it a 10/10. Well worth dropping in and trying their wares as I don’t think you will be...
Read morePoor service! Waited at the bar for a table to fit 9 which was understandable for 30 mins. We watched three tables leave without ordering because they waited so long without drinks or getting their orders taken. We were seated and so far has been 35 mins and still no drinks. They sat three of the beers out on bar which just sat there until we went and got them. With seeing us get them still didn’t bother to graa a b the rest of the drinks. We had to flag them down to tell them we still haven’t received drinks and that we do not want wait for the salads with the dinner. The waiter then sent another waitress to grab drinks and she had to come re ask what we ordered. Food now has been sitting at the window and just received drinks 42 mins later.recieved the salads ten mins after the food.we now how the waiter mike and bartender trish at our table making a god awful amount of excuses for why the service was so poor. They were cleaning tables instead of getting drinks. I’m not sure how that can be explained. Salads weren’t eaten because they arrived so late after the dinner and bread because after third time asking for butter still did not receive. If the employees thought the waiter was overwhelmed why wouldn’t they pull their heads out and help with service, I don’t think being labeled bartender means...
Read moreI forgot that I have been dying to try Aircraft since it opened. My husband and I were looking for someplace different than our usuals. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and then I saw it… prime rib dinner on special! We had a little wait, as there were only two servers staffed to wait tables and tend bar. We were seated within 5 minutes and able to order and receive drinks immediately! We reviewed the menu and decided we would have to come back to try all the things that looked so good. Hubby ordered the brisket sandwich and fries, I ordered the prime rib. I am one who likes the end piece and our waitress was happy to accommodate my request. We were promptly served our food, actually surprised how fast it was ready! Oh my goodness was it good!! I kept thinking if the prime rib is this good, I bet they make a fantastic corned beef (I’ll have to check back in March to see if that dream becomes a reality). Even with the staffing shortage, our waitress, Brie, was attentive and friendly! The patrons in bar were all patient and understanding and it was great to see. We will...
