Habanero's — Restaurant in Moline

Went there for lunch yesterday with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. We have always had a great experience. Yesterday, not so much. We followed our waitress to the table where she tossed the menus on the table and walked away. At that time, she had one other table ( we found out was her husband and son) while the other waitress had 4 tables. After 10 min, she left her family's table to take our order. Halfway through our order, a friend of hers came in, walked up to our table where they had a conversation before taking the other half of our order. She then sat her friend and that woman's husband next to her own family and took their order. When our food was ready, the other poor waitress brought our food out since our waitress was far too busy attending to her friends and family. She never checked to see if we needed refills or needed anything. When we were ready to leave, my daughter had to get a to-go box for my grandson while our waitress delivered a second round of food to her special people. My son-in-law actually had to stop her to ask for our check so we could leave. Needless to say, she earned NO tip from our table. And we generally tip about 30%, more if service is great. We will be back, just will not accept her...

Great Mexican cuisine inside Southpark Mall! There is carry out and occasional dine in per state mitigation levels.

The inside is a very quaint restaurant. Explosive Hispanic colors and decoratiions tied with Hispanic songs in the background creating the perfect ambiance!

There are TVs placed around the interior to watch sports as they do serve alcoholic beverages. This ties in with their amazing bar!

The staff is very polite and courteous. Drinks were ordered 1st and served within a few minutes along with complimentarychips and salsa. The salsa is amazing! Upon the waiter's return we ordered our lunch, which seemed to take 5 or 10 minutes.

Their menu is full of choices including but not limited to: quesadillas, tacos, tostadas. Their menu offers several different proteins from shrimp, to pork. Including beef , steak and chicken!

My girlfriend and I went because I had a coupon for buy one get one free lunch menu, neither the coupon nor the menu stated it was only Monday through Friday. Well the waiter went to get the manager to approve this and he said no ma'am it's only for lunch Monday through Friday and I said well it doesn't state that anywhere, and he proceeded to turn around and cuss me in Spanish because he didn't realize I knew Spanish and told the waiter to go ahead and give it to us. We ordered the lunch fajitas, and to my surprise when it was delivered to us the slivers of beef that was on the plate if you put them together would have not even made one strip of meat.
