Hy-Vee Market Grille — Restaurant in Moline

Moline Hyvee used to be a great stop for a quick little breakfast sandwich, but then they stopped doing the eggs to order, cut the bacon down to 1 slice, switched the cheese from American to some cheap cheddar that just turns to goop, and finally switched from decent little biscuits to a cheap, completely moist "flaky layers" type of biscuit from a can. In the words of Marlin Brando, "Look how they massacred my boy". 💔

Ben was solid and seems like a fine guy, but he can only do so much with what he's given. Would no longer recommend a quick breakfast from Hyvee, and the list of recommendations for visiting Hyvee at all continues to dwindle. Hope to see things turn...

I'm writing this review as I still sit here waiting for my check, being ignored by all the staff, my waitress nowhere to be seen. The last I saw her was when she asked how our food was, to which my husband replied "okay", and she walked away without a word. To say the food was okay is extremely generous. We hardly ate it. We have eaten here before and loved it but I will tell anyone who asks to avoid it after...

I used to love this place, but we won’t be back. The place was dead, but our table was sticky. Eight adults in our group, all ordered meals, but the restaurant manager wouldn’t let me bring my 86-year-old mother’s homemade birthday cake inside, because I didn’t buy it from HyVee.
