No 1 Kitchen — Restaurant in Moncks Corner

First and only time eating at this place. My plan is to never return. The Pupu platter was totally inedible. Greasy and dried out. The fried shrimp was fried into a square shape. All it consisted of was one fishy shrimp and lots of greasy batter. The skewers must have been cooked and reheated several times. Rubbery texture and grease taste. My dog, nicknamed the food disposer, refused to eat any of this platter. I ordered 2 combo plates also. Both were greasy and bland. My husband and I both had major stomach pains from all the grease. And the grease was old tasting to add to our disappointment. For the amount our bill was, we could have chosen a delicious steak dinner. It's all in the garbage can now. I recommend picking another place to eat because I already have terrible acid...

I am not really sure how this place has over 4 stars. I walked in and the lobby had an awful smell like sewage. We got the beef and broccoli and it had a nasty flavor to it, like something generic you would heat from the freezer section. The crab Rangoon was nasty. I've been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. Always tasty hot food. Last night I tried the hot and spicy wings for the first time, all I can say is amazing...
