My husband is a truck driver delivering goods during this pandemic to make sure we have the proper food, supplies, etc. Saturday June 6th at approximately 7:07pm. My husband had completed 3 shifts of delivering since 5am in 100-degree sweltering heat. He was exhausted, hungry, thirsty, and dehydrated. He decided to stop at the Chick fil a located at Moncks corner 601 N. Hwy 52 Moncks, SC 29461. Because he drives a 53-foot truck he does not have the ability to drive through to order food. He parked the truck and walked up to the order station. The attendant (Emily) was reluctant to take his order because he was not in a car but took the order. Once at the window my husband asked if he could up-size his drink to a large, they said it was against company protocol to change the order once at the window due to the line backing up. I understand the protocol however, it has been my experience when an order is changed, they will ask you to move to a lane and an attendant will bring out the changed order. My husband asked if he could get a cup of water in addition to the tea since he was so thirsty, and they WOULD NOT give my husband a cup of water in addition to the tea he ordered. One of the patrons was in a car and witnessed the event and gave him a bottled water. He asked to speak with the manager on duty (Dalton). Dalton was very RUDE and said they were following company protocol and Emily should NEVER have taken the order to begin with. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. My husband was not asking for anything free only common courtesy and service. I have contacted the customer care dept. Still awaiting a response. Mandy (stated she was in senior mgmt. at the restaurant) left a message for me and agreed with Dalton's position on this issue. Therefore, please join me in boycotting this establishment. They owe my husband an apology and, to start exercising common sense as it relates to working...

Read moreIt's hard to believe the difference between this Chick-Fil-A and the one in West Ashley (Magwood). The Magwood location has an army of young people taking orders and delivering food. They serve over 100 cars per hour for hours a day.
I had never been to the Moncks Corner location before, but I should have realized something was wrong when I noticed very few cars at the drive-thru. I pulled in and was the fourth car in line. Sat a solid five minutes while the young lady seemed to be having a conversation with the first car. Another young woman joined her, and she took the orders of the car in front of me and myself. The first employee took another several minutes to take the order of the second car. So there we sat. I cannot understand how it took her so long to take two orders. They could have done a dozen cars at Magwood in that time.
When I finally pulled around, there was one young lady handing off the food to the cars. There are always at least 7 or 8 people staging and handing out the food at Magwood.
My order was for a Chick-Fil-A sandwich and a large Coke. I requested 'Light Ice' which is never a problem at Magwood. When I got two miles down the road, I was out of Coke. They had filled that huge cup to the top with ice!! There couldn't have been more than six ounces of drink in there, and I'm sure they charged me a fortune for it. How much? No idea, because they didn't give me a receipt.
Also the bun was stale. Highly, highly disappointing from a company that is normally...
