I am sorry to say that our second outing to Abbiocco was a complete let down. It was Mother’s Day early afternoon and they were busy but not SRO. The.staff was friendly and a touch too attentive and had to be sent away several times while we were eating. The AC was cranking FULL BLAST to the point of being downright uncomfortable and many patrons complained. Starters were very good and then the real problems started. My wife ordered linguine with clams and me, the short rib.The pasta was obviously rehydrated and WAY over cooked but the worst of it was the GRATED CHEESE the “chef” put on the dish. I had to wait for a new order. It looks like they were short staff. Our waiter was also helping other waiters. He was running all over the place and kind of forgot about us. He kept apologizing. Then for dessert we only wanted espresso, to find out their espresso machine wasn't working. The waiter didn't even know that. It seemed like he wasn't knowledgeable and aware of what was going on. We were very disappointed! It's a shame, but we...
