Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Monmouth

Saturday noon of Labor Day weekend. Service was quick. Had the DQ $5 lunch specials. Cashier greeted me entering, was pleasant and helpful. Food was HOT, temp-wise, the way I like it, taste was great. Restroom was clean and tidy and a pleasant smell but not overpowering. Snapped a couple outside photos. The outside eating area is large with umbrellas for shade and again clean. Twice while I was there tables were cleaned indoors. The outside eating area has round tables and a fence to help corral the little ones. This DQ is on Main Street Monmouth, off the main highway 34, but it is well worth the couple minute diversion. So disappointed the last few times we have been through. Tonight we asked for our order to be corrected. No problem. Got home to find it was still not correct. Manager apologized and said it would be remade correctly to come back up. Go back up and manager now refusing to give us a correct order. When I called the girl didn't have me on hold, totally mocked me while yelling for the manager. Long story short, very disappointed. Well I should know better than to go to DQ at night but I was hungry and it turned out the same way it always does - I end up getting a hamburger that's been sitting under the heating lamp practically all afternoon and then the hamburger was supposed to have lettuce on it, no, it had pieces, small tiny pieces of lettuce not even bitesize it looked like somebody just wanted to empty the bottom of the bowl. Luckily the fries were pretty decent so they must have had to make a new batch.
