I LOVED this restaurant sooo much exactly one year ago today I tried it the first time and the tacos were amazing. Unfortunately tonight I ordered my usual tacos to go and this is what i received. The recipe on the chicken had obviously changed as it wasn’t even the same color it used to be, also I received one single tortilla? With no meat, I thought maybe it slid around and fell but there is only a few loose pieces of meat. The red salsa they usually had got replaced with a different red salsa that had a horrible taste, it taste like to much chile guajillo or a lot of canned chipotle.and they forgot my cilantro :/ It makes me so sad to be disappointed by them because it truly was my favorite taco spot in the whole town . But my ordered didn’t even seem presentable or appetizing and got thrown out. If I had dined in i definitely would have asked for a refund cuz $25 for 6 tacos!! unfortunately I didn’t realize until I got home.

Today was our third time here. First visit got quesabirirra (pictured), to go. Was good. Second time we dined in and got the barbacoa combination plate (pictured), and we dined in. Food & service was excellent. The third time, this evening, we went in and asked for the barbacoa combination plate “for here”. We were the only customers there the whole time. After about 20 mins she brought it out in a to-go bag to our table, so we just took it home, which is only a few minutes away. Opened it (also pictured) it to find the rice and beans were missing, only 3 corn tortillas included, and the meat had huge fat chunks included this time. (The plastic container just contained the diced onions & limes.)

A couple of days ago, I ordered a small side of rice and paid $2.50 for it. I asked the kindest lady with excellent customer service skills how much a large side of rice would cost, and she told me it would cost $5. Today, when I ordered a large side of rice, I was charged $8. I tried to explain to the lady that it should only cost $5, which makes more sense since it's just rice and that's what I was previously told. However, she wasn't helpful or accommodating at all and immediately shut down the conversation. I go to this restaurant every week, but this is such a disappointment.
