Casa Burrito — Restaurant in Monmouth

I was driving through and looked up where to get a burrito in Monmouth. Google pointed out this place as being "similar" to my favorite taqueria in the Boston area, so I was definitely interested. Perhaps that's why I was essentially blind to the images of the food right on the menu in front of my face. I mean, they even had a big grill going outside, all the signs seemed right...right up until my food arrived. I found myself transported 20 years, staring at the same super market crispy tacos with iceberg lettuce that I used to choke down as a child in rural Massachusetts where the closest thing to good Mexican food I'd ever known was Taco Bell. I really don't mean to come down too hard on this place. The service was good, nice friendly atmosphere. I think it was just the vast gulf between what I was expecting and what I got. Long story short, this is no La Victoria or Tenoch, and don't believe that a search engine...

I went through the drive thru which was an absolute joke. Waited 12 minutes for someone to appear then waited another 10 minutes to get my order. Young woman handed me my order I check my order and it was wrong. I waited and knocked on the drive thru window NOBODY ever appeared. ...weird !!! Why do you have your drive thru open if you are cooking outside in front of the restaurant. I had to drive around to the front of the restaurant for someone to help me. I went in and nobody was in side. I finally saw the the young woman who took my order and told her my order was wrong. She took my food NEVER Apologize, but that was not the worst of it, the young woman had an an ATTITUDE ! When the cook handed me my order she apologized. The other young woman taking orders needs to be trained in courtesy. RUDE and needs to stop having an ATTITUDE with customers when it was...

At any time I go they are always out of something. They dont even try to look or even ask if they have more or if it's even in the back or something. I even went when they opened up and asked if they have fish to make tacos and they said no right away. How do you not have fish if you just opened up? You didn't sell out that's for sure. When I came another time I asked for a torta and already put the bread on the grill and asked if they had milonesa and and they said no, so I asked do you have jamon and surprisingly they said no. I did get my money back but I did see the cook give me a death stare and was annoyed because she had to throw away the bread. I will not pay for something that I dont want or want craving I was dissatisfied with Mexican restaurant. P.S. there was no fish...
