Oliver's Pizza — Restaurant in Monroe Charter Township

Located in a beautiful little location stands this gem!! I walked in Sunday evening when the owner was about to close, he turned the machines back on to make me and my family some pizza. If that isn’t amazing customer service, I’m not sure what is. We chatted for about 25 minutes while he made the two large pizzas and his personality and kindness was just unbelievable. We talked about the town, the locals, and how excited he was to have certain updates being made to the community. Next, you can really tell he enjoys making pizza the love, attention to detail, and even personal thank you he wrote on each box was just phenomenal. Last but not least; the pizza was top tier, one of the best I’ve had in a few years.. (and I’m a pizza connoisseur) we had the deep dish pizza, with fresh veggies, and an amazing pizza sauce. Must try if you’re in the area… I know I will return every time I am. Note to mention; it’s a party store as well that has tons of house hold supplies, and a variety of beers...

Absolutely horrible, we go to order for our first time. We give our order and the fella taking the order gets nasty when we ask for spicy pepperoni saying “we don’t get enough orders for that, I don’t carry it.” So aside from the attitude, I order regular pepperoni and order a specialty pizza that the menu claims they have. He blurts out at the end of the order “we only will do thin crust with that.” Okay, finish the order and within two minutes he calls, asks for me and says “I don’t have green olive, are you okay with black olive?” After him being so negative I just said kindly that I will order from somewhere else. He then responds “if you cannot complete an order don’t order from here again!” Folks don’t waste your time here, they’re a joke. We live 10 minutes away, people like this are why we drive 30 plus...

Outstanding pizza and cheese bread!! I can't say enough about the owner Joe and his store. It has a very homey feeling to it when you walk through the door unlike most places today. Not only can you get fresh homemade pizza there, but you can get all of your needs bought all in one place because it's also an entire store full of different things including alcohol. In the back of the store there is a small bate and tackle shop with everything you would need to spend a fun day out on the boat realing in the big ones.
