Hot Spot Coffee House — Restaurant in Monroe Township

This is a great coffee spot! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They offer just about everything you can think up. They have the special of the week drinks so you can try all kinds of yummy drinks. This week is German Chocolate. I love the frozen Carmel latte in the summer! It taste like dessert with coffee. Best of both worlds. They have three sizes you can choose from. They have smoothies too so if coffee isn’t your thing you can try a smoothie. They also offer pup cups for your furry friends for fifty cents! The coffee cake is good and the blueberry muffins too. The breakfast sandwiches are so tasty too. They have really cute different seating areas inside along with a little table for kids to play. They have outdoor seating in the porch as well. The building is handicapped...

Service was awful today!

I have gone here for 6 years, most times driving out of my way. I loved this place. Today I drove clear out of my way (even more so thanks to all the construction), was in line 15 minutes prior to closing along with others.

The young woman working announced BEFORE the closing time (of 4 on Saturday), that she would not wait on anyone else because they close at 4. A large group of us got sent away. They close at 4 pm. I was sitting in my car complaining about not being waited on before 4. I drove a good 30 minutes out of my way just so I could stop here.

The other group ahead of me said it best, disappointing. Get in line prior to closing and will not wait on you. At least they could have told us this before we stood there waiting.

Amazing coffee, great breakfast sandwiches! Online ordering is great and easy except they don't give you the online ordering option for food. I've ordered online multiple times however the last time I heard the batistas talking and making comments about the online orders can wait and to provide service to those guests that are in store. After that I tried ordering in the shop and everytime I have it's been 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches and the wait seems to be 15 to 20 monies regardless of how many people are in there and regardless of if three happens to be 1 barista or 3. I hate even leaving this review because as I stated the coffee is amazing as well as the breakfast sandwiches just difficult if your in any kind of hurry and don't have an extra 20 minutes...
