Dear Management Team of Ryan's,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction following an unpleasant experience I had at your bar, Ryan’s, which has compelled me to bring this matter to your attention. My anticipation of enjoying a relaxing evening at your establishment was unfortunately marred by the conduct of one of your staff members.
During my visit, I approached a staff member with a simple inquiry about the availability of 80s classic rock music, hoping to enhance my experience at your venue. To my dismay, the response I received was not only unhelpful but delivered in a manner that I found to be exceedingly rude. The staff member dismissively stated, “Oh, I’m dint have,” in a tone that was not only off-putting but also conveyed a stark indifference towards customer service and satisfaction.
This experience left me feeling undervalued and disrespected as a customer. It is my belief that the essence of hospitality lies in making patrons feel welcome and appreciated, qualities that were sorely lacking in my interaction with your staff. The indifference shown towards a customer's request, however minor it may seem, reflects poorly on the establishment’s commitment to customer care.
I had chosen Ryan’s with the expectation of enjoying a convivial atmosphere and quality service, which makes this incident particularly disappointing. It is disheartening to witness such disregard for customer satisfaction, an aspect I had assumed would be of paramount importance at your bar.
I urge you to address this issue promptly, to prevent similar instances from occurring in the future. Training staff to engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner is essential to ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
I hope my feedback will be taken into consideration and that steps will be taken to improve the level of service at Ryan’s. Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreI have held off multiple times on writing a review for this place but I really need to share my experience here. Everytime my friend and I go here, there is at least 2 if not more issues with our experience. I have a lot of patience for people in the service industry since I have also been a part of it, but this is just ridiculous. Good luck getting the staff to acknowledge you in the first 30 minutes of you being there unless you're an old alcoholic screaming at the TV. One day after sitting at the bar for 15 minutes, the bartender finally came over and questioned our ID's for a while but ultimately decided to serve us (we are 22). We ordered 2 drinks which came out pretty quick and also got an order of onion rings. We timed it and it took 50 minutes to get our onion rings. There was only one full table, the rest were empty, so i'm not sure what the hold up was. Another time we went there, we both just ordered salads and it took 30 minutes. Today when we went, it took a while to get the bartenders attention even though she was just standing there. When I got her attention she told me my friend and I have baby faces and she needs to see our ID's, which is understandable since again we are 22. However, this bartender has served us multiple times and says the same thing every time. I gave her both of our ID's and expected there to be no issue. She went on to bring our ID's to 3 of her workers and took her sweet time getting back to us and handed me our ID's back and said "I don't really know what this is". I'm not sure what that means or how she is unable to do simple math and know that two people born in 2001 are of age to drink. Not to mention, I have seen the bartenders clean the glasses, and they literally barely rinse them and use dirty water. The food is mediocre but the service is worse. I'd recommend going to Docks in Jamesburg where their staff is not...
Read moreAfter living in Monroe for almost 16 years this was my time at Ryan's Pub. My friend who lives about 3 miles from the pub suggested it for lunch today and WOW, was I pleasantly surprised!!. Quite an extensive menu of pub favorites plus enough additional variety to satisfy any taste. My friend had the pot stickers and an order of wings, I had the French Dip. Very excellent food, generous portions, good service and standard prices. The owner who recognized from friend from her past visits stopped by to chat. He was very cordial and accommodating; an excellent host who valued our business. We had a couple of cocktails each ,which is why the bill may seem a little high for lunch, but without drinks, I consider the food prices quite modest. For dessert we shared a huge chocolate chip cookie, served warm in a cast iron skillet topped with ice cream and a chocolate drizzle. The coffee was among the best I have ever had in any restaurant. The owner mentioned that there is live entertainment on weekend evenings so something to check out if you like a livelier night of entertainment. I believe he said vintage rock, not sure so you might want to call to find out . The ambiance was very much that of a sports bar/pub with regulars gathered round the bar. Quaint, homey and clean (even the rest room). True Americana at its finest. I will definitely go back. Can't wait for my husband to try it. ...
