Checkers — Restaurant in Monroe

Before this evening's visit it has been months since I ate here. My first visit was very pleasurable. I even compared them to my favorite burger joint. Tonight that all changed with my most recent visit. I ordered a #1 double combo, and a Big Burford (burger only). Once home I pulled out my burger and immediately noticed that it wasn't in the signature foil wrap as previous. I pulled out my fries and noticed that they tasted different than the ones that I previously experienced. They were definitely weren't palate friendly. I unwrapped my burger and bit into it and immediately noticed that this wasn't the same quality meat used on my previous visit. Like I stated it has been months since I've eaten here. Not only was the meat not up to par, there were way too many soggy onions, soggy tomatoes, and too many pickles. The bun was different and not the soft fluffy one that I remember. Even my mango slush was off. I don't know what happened but it's nothing like my first visit. They changed everything, and it's not for the better. $19 wasted, I should've stuck to Wendy's. Well,10 min after eating the burger the vomit started. The fries were great,the soda too. But the burger was a miss. This was the first time using this checkers I usually go to the one by 'N L U' ,AKA ulm. They're awesome so... could of been the onion on the burger which I ask to not place on it. Taking the onions off after they have been on the burger doesn't work. I'm allergic to them. They will make me sick. So lesson is what? Look before you leap? Or even though you're starving don't eat just anything? For this is why I don't go to too many restaurants. I don't experiment with my food. One day someone will screw up and find themselves where they don't want to be. Its getting harder to stay... ... social.? So,for those of us who can't eat just everything,watch...

⭐☆☆☆☆ Left Without Ordering—Restroom Was That Bad

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this really needed to be said. The restroom at this location was extremely dirty. The staff handed me the key on a greasy pole, and as soon as I opened the door, I was hit with an awful smell. The condition of the toilet was so bad it was hard to even step inside.

For a fast food restaurant that serves families and prepares food, basic cleanliness should be a top priority. This experience made me seriously question the hygiene standards of the entire place. I ended up leaving without ordering because of it. I truly hope management addresses this issue no customer should have to...
