Sweet Caroline's Bakery Boutique — Restaurant in Monroe

I went in on a Friday and spoke with a young lady about a cake. Although her customer service was great, the communication is horrible! The young lady quoted me one starting price on Friday and stated she would contact me on Monday or Tuesday with a final price. I never received a call. I called her on Tuesday and she quoted me a new starting price and she proceeds to tell me that the prices went up and the baker retired medically! What changed between Friday and Monday? For the price of those cakes, you would think they would communicate better. I will never step foot in this place again and recommend whomever give them business to get your total price right...

The owners are amazing as their goodies! Cindy (literally) went out of her way to help me treat my father for his birthday from out-of-state. He said his turtle and strawberry liqueur cupcakes were out-of-this-world scrumptious. I just cannot say enough good about the kind and generous spirit and professionalism of this business. I am SO glad I found Bakery Boutique and I would recommend anyone in town or out to make SURE to do business with these people. I'm not sure if the name has changed recently, but this place might be called "Sweet Caroline's Bakery Boutique" according to the sign above the shop. We popped in to check this place out after lunch at Athena next door, and we're so glad we did. The lemon strawberry bars are divine and the turtle bars are massive and great with coffee. Pricing is good for massive sized treats that can honestly be split into two or three servings a piece. The woman behind the counter was a joy to chat with and very kind and informative. We're looking forward to trying more treats here...
