What a mess, both the restaurant and the service. The place was almost deserted and there were two servers and a cook. Tables were not bussed and there was trash all over the floor. We picked out a table that was reasonably clean and settled in. There was only one other table so we figured we should be able to get served in a short time. Boy were we wrong. I ordered an All Star with hash browns in the ring and bacon, my wife ordered a pecan waffle and bacon. The waffles arrived first. Then syrup arrived around 5 minutes later followed by the bacon. Then another 5 minutes passed before my eggs and toast (whitethough I ordered wheat) arrived on a small plate. The server said my hash browns would be a few more minutes. Eventually they arrived on their own little plate. Sorry, but I like to eat my potatoes and eggs and bacon together and the separate plates weren't cutting it. Besides. The eggs were stone cold when they arrived so they didn't get eaten at all. I wound up eating the bacon and potatoes. When I went to pay I told the server to deduct the eggs since u wasn't paying for something that I didn't eat and was so poorly served. So. In true WH style, she took every item and put an a la carte price on it and made the bill go UP by several dollars. Read moreI used to come and have breakfast every Saturday with my husband until I had my baby. We loved the Saturday staff. Well, we have our hands full but still enjoy the food. So when togos became limited, my husband showed up before 8am because they said no togos after 8. No biggie. However, today is Wednesday. I got up super early and got to wafflehouse at 3:30am to order my husband breakfast for his birthday. Not a single guest in sight and the staff will not make me a togo order. So I drive to the other waffle house down the street. Same thing, no guests in sight. I ask if they would do a Togo order. "Sorry, it's dine in only." Okay so then why does the sign say no togos on the weekends between these times? "Oh, it's by basis." Okayyyyyyy. It seems like there is some kind of confusion or some people just don't want to work nor make money.... Either clarify no togo's at all or hire a staff that wants to work. Very...

Tonight I had a hair fried to my bacon, and the third shift manager offered to remake it (she made it the first time). She threw some on the grill and had the bacon back to my table, and herself seated back at her table scrolling on her phone, within 5 minutes. The order was “crispy” and was correct the first time. The remake bacon was barely not raw anymore. I politely declined the remake and asked for my waiter to take it off my bill. When it was time to go, the third shift manager came over to let me know I needed to pay for the bacon regardless. She claimed it was “company policy” to only offer to remake hairy food. Not to take it off the bill. When I informed her that I was pretty sure it was her hair stuck to my bacon, she decided take it off my bill. I’m 2/5 for hair in my food at this...
