First, I do not know where the other 5 star reviewers are dining.....10/12124 I keep saying I will not go back here and here I am AGAIN. Three of us, not too busy. Spinich Dop Appetizer the pita's were BURNT, took OVER 15 minutes for our waitress to even look in our direction to ask for unburnt, another 10 nubnytes toi get them and by then the dip was ice cold. My friend always gets a double bathc of the brussel sprouts with EXTRA JUICE, not a drop of juice. My daughter got lunch parm chicken I got dinner BBQ chicken, she got more but everytime I get chicken it is always cut up into MEDALLIONS size chunks, never an entire piece of chicken, grilled shrimp tasted fishy (not for the first time) and was also burnt, daughter got a baked potato she did not order and I never got my broccoli. I told my family, nope, not ever again........I will travel to Bethlehem Longhorn where I have always gotten a perfect meal. Previously: It was 3:30 hoping there would not be a crowd. She wanted to seat us right outside of the kitchen (the restaurant was half empty), I said no not happening. It took about 10/15 minutres before our waiter came over to us. As soon as he left to get our waters a family of 6 were seated directly next to us (like where the isles should be, but they shoved in several long tables) with a small baby. The baby was loud, I wanted to move my boyfriend said ignore it. They kept taunting and encouraging this baby to yell and try to talk, I'm talking a 3 or 4 month old. Gave our order and I got my Texan Margarita, after two or three sips there was SO much ice that melted, the entire drink was ruined. Got the Spinach Dip, SO SALTY, only ate less than half. Most of the meal, not worth the price. BBQ Chicken Breast, tender but inedible because of the SALT, Grilled Shrimp, SALTY and Dear God it should have been thrown away weeks ago. It tasted SO BAD, I spit it out and I didn't eat any of it. The Pork Chops, SALTY, but okay, rather thin. Brussels Sprouts were so huge there is no way they could have cooked thru. Sirloin steak has no business even being on the menu if you are going to serve shoe leather, and that is medium rare. Needless, I am done with this place. This has been our Go To place, but no more. I tired of this restaurant thinking SALT is a...
Read moreNo reservations taken, only call ahead same day. Even then, we arrived ahead of time, waited over 30 minutes past the time, and were finally seated. The tables were almost all vacant the whole time. Salads were brought out with errors. Meals came out with errors. Eventually each got resolved, but the meals were slowed down waiting for items. We were there to celebrate some birthdays and passed cards out. After almost 2 hours at the restaurant we finally were able to pay the bill. We left and thought we had everything, but my son's card was mistakenly left as we helped the grandparents make their way out. We were in the parking lot for a short time handling the wheelchair. When we arrived home we realized his card was missing. The next day we stopped back by the restaurant and spoke to the manager. My mom's empty envelope had been turned in, but my son's card with the cash in it was nowhere to be found. Odd they would turn in one, but not the other. No cameras on the building in or out. Having worked retail and food service in the past, being a family of Veteran's, and some of the family eating there regularly, I am absolutely disappointed in the lack of integrity shown. Names were clearly on the envelope, they had a clear opportunity to do the right thing, and they opted not to. Again, disappointed with a lack of integrity. They profited of my son, they won't be getting me back any time soon. Our table was multiple times the amount taken, but they chose a quick...
Read moreThe atmosphere was pretty good considering it wasn't all that crowed. We were seated immediately. The food mediocre. I had the Flo Filet Rare, which is always good, and the French Onion Soup, which is always a favorite. However, I asked if I could get the soup as a side in place of the potato. The waitress stated I could get whatever I wanted. Obviously, once I got the bill, I had not made myself clear. What I was asking is that instead of paying full price for the soup, it replaces the potato with soup, knowing there would be an upcharge, having done this at other Longhorns. She didn't get it. The house salad was drowning in dressing. Friend got her dressing on the side, not having asked for it on the side. I had assumed that all restaurants did this as a courtesy now, but apparently, this Longhorns only does it when they feel like it. The waitress literally saw me taking napkins trying to soak up the excess dressing, and all she did was bring me extra napkins when I didn't even ask for them, how sweet of her. She filled up my friend's tea once, never asking if I needed mine topped off or refilled. She came to a stop at our table a total of 4 times. Once to bring extra napkins, then to bring steaks, to refill a tea and the last time to bring the bill. She brushed by 2 times to make sure we were fine and didn't need anything. Luckily, we were just passing through because we...
