Waffle House — Restaurant in Monroe

The first couple of times I went to this Waffle House, it was great! Service and food were both awesome. However, I went back tonight & the waitress, Kewanna, was extremely rude. She tossed our silverware on a couple of crinkled napkins on our table. She spoke with absolutely no professionalism, even once gesturing with a grunt as she passed us our bacon (which the chef had forgotten to give us earlier). Any time she asked us anything, you could tell that she was absolutely not happy to be serving us. There was a huge chunk in my grits of what was clearly the hardened grits from the bottom of the container. She mixed up our drinks with completely different drinks.When I told her that we wanted our three checks separate, she turned around with a huge, huffy sigh and asked her co-worker for a calculator with an annoyed tone. Then she took forever to calculate it anyway. It was just $5 + $2.30 + tax. Not too hard, PLUS you already went through ALL of the exasperating trouble of getting a calculator. My friend's order was even easier but took even longer. It was just ONE item. This one encounter was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I don't think I'll ever return to this...

We had to wait a while to be seated. Then we had to wait a while for our order to be taken (my, my be, and our sons). There was a couple in line behind us that was seated after us and got their order taken before us and they received their food before us. We didn't like that but we didn't make a fuss. I asked for scrambled whites with a little cheese. They brought me a small serving of watery egg white with an entire slice of cheese melted into it..... needless to say it looked disgusting. BUT I was still nice about it. I asked the waitress if they have any shredded cheese and she said no (which I thought was weird... why not??). I asked her to have it redone. They sent back whole scrambled eggs... again I was nice about it and gave it to my sons because they wanted more eggs anyway. She put in a request for egg whites AGAIN..... and they still came back the same, whole scrambled eggs. She said that she would take it off the ticket. I checked the total before she grabbed the ticket and when she came back the total was exactly the same as before she "took it off"..... so we just paid and left. I have some type of problem just about every time I go to this Waffle House. I'm just...

Attempted to go inside to eat, but someone in the crowd of people outside the door told us we couldn't go inside and everyone was waiting for their orders to be brought outside. We stand there for a while, but no employee came to take orders so we figured it had to be called in. Called 3x with no answer, despite the 8 or more employees we could clearly see inside. After asking around outside, we were told that they weren't taking phone orders. An employee came outside to give someone their food so we told her we needed to order. What we initially ordered wasn't available bc they were limiting the menu to certain items. Finally placed our order and then had to prepay, except she never asked for a name or phone number to let us know our food was ready and never brought us the receipt. An hour later, after watching so many customers come order and get their food, our order finally comes outside. We stop somewhere to eat in the car, but no utensils were in the bag. Half of what was in the bag was wrong and there was an entire meal missing. VERY poor management and zero communication...
