The Salad Station — Restaurant in Monroe

This was my second trip. I only went 1st time b/c I was given a gift card. -First trip was fine, I was new-didnt know how it worked, it was explained to me, I was offer to have my salad chopped at the end. That was nice and was offered the rewards program. Other than me over filling my bowl not realizing and it turning into a $20 salad, I was pleased. I didn't realize it was by the weight but I had a gift card so it was fine. -2nd trip, very disappointed with the staff. Being that I had one previous experience there, I was prepared, I knew not to load the salad up too much. I did want my salad chopped/mixed like they do at the end. There was a lady getting soup in front of me so I waited. The lady working the register disregarded that I was waiting towards the left waiting to get it chopped up. When it was my turn to move forward, I placed my salad on the scale, it was $13 this time. Although last time, they chopped the salad before I paid, I figured maybe they could just chop it after. So I attempted to pay and during that process I asked if I could have it chopped up. I was very rudely told "you're supposed to do that before you pay" Well it wasn't offered to me so I was going to pay and then ask for it after. I was very frustrated, got kind of snappy with the lady and said "this is only my second time here. How am I supposed to know that" (why does it make a difference anyway on the weight of the salad if they chop it before or after you pay) then she went to the back about a minute and came back and said "oh well you have to pay first before I chop it". Very flip floppy. Honestly the vibe there is like you're just supposed to know how things go, I was very disappointed in the attitude from the girl. I don't know if I'll return honestly because the rude expectations of the employee made me not...

Walk in. As you move down the line: Sanitize hands. Get earth friendly bowl for salad, smaller bowl for fruit, and cup for dressing. Beautiful variety of greens. Expansive collection of veggies. Delectable choices of meats. Tasty and varied condiments. Dressings that accommodate a variety of tastes and needs. Everything fresh at every station!

A 90 degree turn and proceed in the opposite direction. Option to get salad chopped and wrapped. Hearty soup choices. Weigh salad. Weigh fruit. Get cup for drink or maybe a tasty cookie...if you like. And pay. Get utensils and fill up drink cup. Smiles and help from staff at every point along the way.

Alone or with a companion, sit down and enjoy an excellent meal, tasty and nutrious, in a setting that is pretty, quiet, and comfortable. And if your eyes are larger than your stomach, pop on the bowl's lid, request a bag, and enjoy the rest of your salad...

first time visiting the salad station was a very pleasant experience!

The salad is fully customizable to your preference, manager was friendly enough, and staff was never hesitant to help!

The freshness of the ingredients is what will make me come back . The salad dressing was delishhh!!! Didn’t taste anything being watered down. Ingredients were cold and crisp ! Fresh! the garlic butter chicken was warm and very nicely seasoned.

I only give 4 stars because the soups are nasty, they lack seasoning, just overall lack luster.

But the lemonade spreads and fresh tea AMAZING. The restaurant is clean and vibrant. Will be returning!
