Chicken Express — Restaurant in Mont Belvieu

Okay ever went to a restaurant and felt like you were " bothering" the employees by just showing up...well listen to this.. Pulled up to the drive thru...guy on the other end told me to "review the menu" and I'll be with u in a minute...okay no problem...they were pretty busy...when he came back, he said ...whats your name? I was like my name?... he responded ..Your Name for the order!!!.. I told him my name but I wasn't accustomed to giving my name because Ive been here before...anyway I disregarded him snapping at me and .I ordered my family meal then asked for "fresh chicken"...the guy openly laughed in the speaker..YEP THAT HAPPENED.he laughed.....another female voice then came on and asked ...may I have your order? REALLY....so I gave my entire order again and said 'I don't mind waiting for fresh chicken"...she said okay...I pulled up...paid my 30 bucks and began waiting...4 minutes later the same lady walked to the window opened it aggressively ....pointed at me and asked with a scowl on her face... ...What're you waiting on?... I paused and almost asked " you can't be serious...u just took my money""...instead I told her what I ordered and she frowned and pointed and said well can you pull up then..and immediately followed it with...Im not trying to be rude...clearly that ship had sailed....WOW!!!!..Ive been here before and had awesome food and service...whatever happened to that previous crew...we...

Wanting to try something new, we decided on Chicken Express in Mont Belvieu. The following is a review of our experience and is by no means a platform for debate. It is simply a review. Now...As far chicken goes...this was somewhat marginal. Service through the drive through was anything but express... It took 11 minutes to receive my order of a 3 piece chicken dinner, 3 piece fish dinner and an order of hot wings and 2 sweet teas and the cost was just shy of $30. The chicken pieces tastes like Hartz and was very greasy. My request for mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side was not fulfilled while the wings were over salted and over fried. The fries were cool to the touch, soggy and were tasteless. Our macaroni and cheese, served at room temperature was bland to say the least.The fish was more fried than the hot wings and are still on the plate where my husband tried to break it in hopes of revealing something that resembled....fish. Although my roll was warm, it slide out of my hands due to the amount of butter lathered on the top of it. As a southern woman knows sweet tea...Chicken Express may need a tutorial. This establishment is new to our neck of the woods and it is my hope that they are merely trying to work the kinks out and is not a true representation of their product or...

I came to write my GOOD review and while perusing the reviews I saw Mr. And Mrs. EXTRA BASIC "B" of Mont Belvieu left their collective attack. Extra basic, I would bet money they are the ones I saw walking their dog wearing matching pajamas. I stopped in at CE because my personal trainer recommended it as a quick healthy option for a few pieces of chicken or fish on the go. It was delicious. And the people in the drive through were very kind. I had to wait, but no one was behind me and I didn't look at my clock and count the minutes I was waiting so I could make a full report of it later. People. Its just chicken. Its not the end of the world. Thank God you have money to buy a meal and stop being so trashy/petty....
