Apparently the evening crew is better, far and above, at taking orders, quickly preparing the delicious meals found at Paradise Cafe and the lunch crew is completely inept. I don't expect getting the wrong order from any restaurant, let alone one that while the food is delicious it is a bit pricey at Paradise Cafe. So imagine my surprise and dismay when I open my food containers and find nothing close to my order and less in price. And it's suggested by the manager/owner, that I eat this food and would be able to get my order any time later.....WHAT?! No, you eat this meal and bring me my food! You have plenty of people mucking up the orders, maybe take one out and send them to me up the road, at my job, that I can't leave once on duty. I am monumentally disappointed in today's service at Paradise Cafe.
Now, lest I seem completely unfair, and I've given Paradise Cafe their due in regards to the delicious food served, I was so hungry for the always excellent crunch roll and fried dumplings that I ordered. You know the feeling when you go through and pick up food but find the wrong order. For me, I don't care if I ordered white steamed rice and get a family meal, I ordered what I wanted to eat. Someone is going to suggest checking my order before driving off. Thank you for the sage advice, but I've never had such poor service at Paradise Cafe. I'll check every container from now on though, make sure it's correct, especially, though not very likely, that I eat there at lunch time.
Sorry about the above, not removing anything, but I was "hangry". So much so that I decided to eat the whatever chicken type food this is. I didn't know you guys served this sub-par, cheap buffet-like stringy chicken with bland fried rice. The cream cheese fried wontons are about as good as any others out there, but come on, it's hunks of cream cheese in wonton wrappers that are fried....not good, not bad....not what I ordered today nor...
Read moreI should have known not to order the Pad Kee Mao when the waitress told me she had only been there 3 weeks and wasnât sure exactly how it was cooked because no one had ordered it yet. But, I ordered it anyways because I wanted something spicy and I asked for veggies instead of meat. After 20+ minutes of waiting for our food, she brought out my bfâs Mongolian Beef, by itself, just the meat. Then went on to serve other tables. Then brought out his side dish of rice. Then came by and told me it would be just a few more minutes on mine. 5 minutes later, she came back and said that they couldnât make mine because the âmanagerâ couldnât find the noodles for it and asked if I wanted to see a menu. When I asked why wasnât I told after I ordered it (which I wouldâve been okay with 20 minutes prior), I was given excuses that they were taking care of Togo and drive thru orders. What is the point of allowing dine in when you donât hold our orders to the same priority as take out? The only reason I picked this place because it had a dine-in option, unlike other restaurants in the area. I ended up ordering veggie lo mein... which was a plate of noodles and 4 pieces of broccoli; thatâs not veggie lo meinâ no mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers, green beans. This place is terrible, I donât really blame the waitress, other than the lack of forethought; but itâs the managers INconsideration for customers for meâ donât offer something on the menu if youâre not prepared for it & especially donât have a pregnant person waiting on their food to be let down laterâ notify them as soon as you know something isnât possible. I wonât be coming back and Iâll be going to YoYoâs for take...
Read moreI ordered a simple order of âtwo veggie rollsâ. At other Japanese restaurants that usually means an all vegtable sushi styled roll. A veggie roll. My friend and I drove off with our bag of food and parked in the parking lot. Immediately my bag of my sushi rolls were warm and limp so I didnât even have to un tie the bag to realize they were not sushi vegetable rolls but two egg rolls. I go right back in and before I can say anything the girl who I talked to at the window rudely said âwhat is itâ and her dark haired coworker is rolling Her eyes at me. I ignore the hurtful body gestures and tones and explain to them that I probably just ordered wrong and I hadnât even opened the take out bag that I would like a sushi vegtable roll. They said it was ok and began trying to open my check to undo it and charge me for the rolls I wanted. I sat and waited for 30 minutes. My friend, done with her food meets me inside the restaurant. Another girl appears and infront of everyone says âmaâam we have the veggie rolls you want but since you went home and decided you didnât want these we are going To have to charge you for bothâ SERIOUSLY? WHAT! it took me less than 60 seconds to realize this was not what I wanted and now you want to charge me for both and shame me infront of everyone! After waiting over 30 minutes! I asked for my money back and left. I will never eat at this trash place again. Customer service is always terrible orders are always wrong!
