Twisters Ice Cream — Restaurant in Montague

We love going to Twisters! They offer soft and hard ice cream, and sugar-free fat-free frozen yogurt. Each week there is a different flavor frozen yogurt. We also like that they have "Pup Cups" for our dog.

This summer, Twisters introduced an "Extreme Shake of the Week". Each week they offer a different Extreme Shake and they look a-maz-ing! One week was Peanut Butter Overload....The rim of the cup was dipped in peanut butter or chocolate syrup and crushed Reeces pieces. Peanut butter syrup was drizzled on the inside of the cup, Then they filled the cup with a peanut butter flavored shake that had chocolate and more Reeces pieces mixed into the ice cream. The shake was topped with whipped cream, a chocolate and peanut butter wafer cookie, a Reeces Peanut Butter Cup, and a Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Cookie, another drizzle of peanut butter syrup, and more Reeces...

My mother and I went to get some ice cream and we both order some Butter Pecan because it sounded amazing. We get down the road and I bite into something bitter and assume it may be a piece of pecan shell or something. So bitter I had to spit it out. Then my mom says "ewww" and had the same thing. By this time we were half way to the channel because we were going to see the sunset. Let's just say there were many BAD pecans in this ice cream, safe to say MOST were. We ate the ice cream but threw out the pecans after so many bad one.

Came here July 5th, ‘25, it was a Saturday, day after Independence Day and it was hot outside so it was very busy. We did some other stuff in Whitehall and came back about 3/4 hour later but it was still queued out so just waited. Thankfully I only got a medium cone as the serving was huge.
