Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Montebello

Will mostly get the order wrong if drive thru early evening and mid-morning ,same staff of 3 maybe 4 dudes behavior like the eye drops hide what they do before work or before the shift before and just stay around (for "overtime work") expensive receipts state 10 dollar fast food burgers on multiple visits and the bag will be filed with jumbo Jack,s. The ladies who work along these 3 look awake and at a lobster. Worst Jack west of rosemead north of Huntington Park east of Leimert Park and southeast of mid city. I make a stop at jackinthebox everywhere. But this is the worst, not just a attitude problem in my eyes because others have visited this jack and have come with missing patties , the regular jumbo Jack switch for the $8+ and up burger combo and possible chicken sandwiches instead...

As I walked in, young man asked politely if I was paying with cash or card. I said card. He replied "ok, you start your order here (pointing to a screen) and if you need help I am here to help" I responded, "you're already here" A split second of (insert negative posture here) "ok what would you like?" Let's just say the rest of the experience was one of frustration from the young man. I wanted to ask " how many hours have been cut or lay offs since this screen was installed have happened at this particular store?" Do you young people not realize that your jobs are being rapidly replaced? Why do you have to place my own order? What happened to customer service? Needless to say, sandwich was just thrown into the box and I drank my coffee cautiously hoping nothing...

Ever notice (usually) the first month Jack puts out a new item it's really good. Like the first Monterey Jack burger... man that thing was good. 'Course a couple of months later it's just any other'Jack' sandwich. The sourdough is limp and grilled a bit soggy and squished. The cheese is lacking and it tastes more like the wrapper than the chedder-jack goodness you've had other places. The sauce is just a big clump in the middle of the bun that isn't there until 4 or 5 bites in... A breakfast Jack is always good, but pretty much every sand... just tastes the same. Tho this last time they didn't over cook the rings. They were crisp out side and hot and juicy inside. Surprise!
