McDonald's — Restaurant in Montebello

This McDonald's has served the Montebello community for decades. It has existed here since at least the 90s.

The food here is generally good, but I have had a single horrendous food poisoning incident from here many years back from some awful tasting Sausage Egg McMuffins. I lost consciousness and knocked out. It caused a huge mess at my work and I had to leave early by being picked up. I am thankful I have not had another terrible incident from this location again.

The food is standardized like any other McDonald's. If you like one location, you will like this one. If the standardized food tastes suspicious, don't eat it like I did.

The strange part about this location, in the past weeks, is that this McDonald's has a few random ants crawling around the dining area when I visited them at night. I have never seen any bugs in any fast-food restaurant before, so seeing it for the first time was strange. Of all the fast food places, I would not have guessed McDonald's would be the first one. It doesn't bother me but as long as it doesn't get out of hand I don't care.

The tall, fat, nerdy store manager likely told the employees to mess up my food because the workers gave me the wrong burger. The manager looked really annoyed I had them make me my burger. If you look at the burger patty from the side nearly half of the patty was sliced off. Not only that but there were holes in the patty; I could literally SEE THROUGH my burger patty!!! Well in particular I felt a strong discrimination bias today when I went in too ask buy 2 apple pies and get a cup of hot water no charge. I've been doing this for many days but today, they charged me for a small hot tea, I understand that yea I should pay for the cup, but they proceeded too charge me for tea while I asked for hot water. The cup fee is $1 I could have gotten the bigger cup of just hot water, instead they said they needed too charge me for tea because I bring in my own tea too make. I believe this entire is based on the fact that I'm homeless and carrying my bags around with me. They let the tweakers sleep here till closing but me they immediately have too start discriminating agaisn't me because of my appearance. Even if those tweakers are 10x more dirty then me and don't buy anything. They still came after me. I had a tonic clonic seizure on the local public bus guess one of the employees who worked there saw. Next day they wouldn't let me in and when I went too use the restroom they called the cops on me. They let other homeless do meth and shoot up in the restroom as well as take showers and sleep inside. But because I have epilepsy and seizures they won't let me in and are segregating me. Saying that it's because I'm homeless. Don't know how that can be possible since they allow other homeless too literally live inside there. That's how I know it's specifically epilepsy discrimination. There probably afraid I'll have seizure inside in front of everyone. This is kinda like a love-hate relationship for me and not something I would typically review. Because I could easily give them a one star but I could easily give them a five star so it’s very contradicting. And I’m not gonna be those people that never leave reviews anywhere else but when they do it’s at a McDonald’s and it’s a one star because they asked for ketchup and they got two packets instead of five. So like I totally understand the fast pace they have in totally understand that they make mistakes a lot but you get what you pay for and what you pay for is always good but it’s super bad for you and it’s really hard to put my son on this one but I gave him three stars because I could sit here and talk trash and talk good things about them so I just wanna make sure that they know they’re doing their job right because they’re bad publicity has just as much good publicity so they’re doing something right and I got to say them fries and a bacon Mc double is killer with a Coke it late at night. Dislocation in particular though definitely has some strange things going on and strange zombie liked human people walking around so it’s definitely a good place where derelict people hang out poor people poor souls just lost in this dark world and all I can do is pray for him and pass by him as I eat...
