Checkers — Restaurant in Montgomery

ATTN: “Owner” respondent...if you’re going to respond, take the time to read all the way through. My case # is at the end if you want to make this right & stop wasting my time. The following review was posted a week ago (it’s now 8/6/22). Afterwards, the “owner” respondent directed me to the central website to contact them yet again... Surprise! Still no response. Stop wasting my time 😩

In summary, DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Theft via online order....placed an order online, arrived & was told they didn’t have some of the items I’d already paid for. They said I had to call an 800 number for my refund, which I did. This was June 12th. It’s now July 24th, & I’ve called the 800 number 6 times since originally opening the “case” for a refund. They’ve supposedly escalated the case every time I call. I’ve also been given the corporate number which doesn’t ring. I’ve also been given the local GM’s cell number who’ve I’ve texted twice (once to briefly explain the issue, provide my case # & the dates in which I’ve called) & a second time to follow up on the text that never got a response. I’ve called the local store 3 times only to be told they cannot issue refunds (yet somehow they can take money?). This is literally theft. I paid for items I didn’t receive. It’s incredible that this is even possible. The 800 number originally offered me a coupon valued at a portion of what was owed to me & said I needed to use it within 30 days. The audacity is mind blowing. I told them I’ll never ever order from checkers again, so I absolutely don’t want a coupon, I want the money returned for the food I didn’t receive!

In case Checkers decides to finally do something about this, my case # Is 5612809. It was opened on 6/12. The order was placed on 6/11. The original notes are incorrect (it wasn’t just a box of fries that i paid for but...

FIRST VISIT during the day..

I love checkers, always have and will. The line at this one is still a bit crazy cause of the newness. But if we have to wait so long, can my fries be crispy not soggy and hot not luke warm especially if that's the only thing I order 😐 ..

UPDATED 2ND VISIT after midnight

Hello. So I tried going to Checkers once more after someone responded to my 1st review. Well this time was EVEN worse. I work at South two minutes down the street and decided to come here for my lunch break. I ARRIVED AT 12:45 AM and STAYED IN THE DRIVE THRU UNTIL 2:15 AM. Don't believe it, look at the receipt in the UPDATED picture. Cars was even sitting at the drive thru window very very very long periods before being handed their food. NOTHING about HERE is FASTFOOD, it is verrrrrrrry slow food, so people who've NEVER been here please keep this in mind..

Management and/or OWNERS should perhaps do secret shopping or have many others do secret shopping just to see how awful the service and wait time really is if the reviews coming in are unbelievable. Also if the outside lane drive thru intercom isn't being worked, why have people wait 30 minutes or so at it if that side isn't really be utilized, close it cause it's definitely not helping speed any orders up. I was so excited about Checkers coming to Montgomery but the workers of this one has made it such a heartbreaking disappointment. I'd rather drive way to Dothan's Checkers where the food is fast and so hot it burns your...

Went 2 days in a row trying to order food they never came to the speaker the 1 day I went parked an Walked to the front window ppl were eating an talking in the back of the store day 2 the never came to the speaker again this time I went through the drive thru an drove to the window this lady comes to the window I ask her does their speaker work she said yes I said I been waiting to order she asked what I wanted I told her she didn't no what I was talking about had to go get the cook he was slower then the lady at the window both idiots had to go get the manager an she wasn't any better she was Dumber the they was had the nerve to charge me additional fee for using my card I've never heard that of that clearly what I was trying to order was on the sign above the speaker and they couldn't figure it out gots to do better.
