I have an old iPhone5. So, to write this review I had to put in actual effort by downloading the Google Maps app, sign in, and jump through several other hoops. I hope this shows the dedication I have for this.
So, there I was, sitting in the bed of my father-in-laws truck on my way to pick up some simple premade dinner for my wife as I am just returning from a business trip. I placed the order using the highly convenient Dominos App, Medium-Pan with mushrooms and extra cheddar cheese. Fair price, modest timeline. We pull up to the dominos after missing the chance to dodge not 1 but 3 red lights.
I stroll in through the door with a happy swagger as I am thoroughly in the mood for some nice Za. There’s is a couple at the front counter, so I stand slightly to the side behind him and wait my turn. After listening to the conversation for a few minutes, it’s evident that this couple is dissatisfied with their order and wants to place another. An older woman comes forth, the manager, and begins to converse with the couple in a grumpy and rude tone. Simultaneously, a young man eyes me from behind the counter. I recite my name, “Pepperoni-Pete”, and he disappears to the back to procure my pie. I take my Pizza home.
Once I get home, I swap from my business attire into some comfortable lounge wear, crack open a Dr.Pepper, and open the box. It’s cut crooked. Ok, no big deal, I’m no samurai myself! I grab some hot sauce and sit on the couch and watch the wife replay Red Dead Redemption 2, again. The slight grumble in my stomach reminds me of the warm pie beside me. I take my first bite with hope and excitement. It’s bland.
It dons on me, this is the 7-8th time eating here, and each time the meal has been standardly subpar. The customer service has always been cold and lack luster. The atmosphere has always left me wanting. This Dominos is a mere 7 minutes away, but after my efforts tonight, my local Dominos has lost my loyalty. Tonight, I become a Papa Johns Patron.
P.S. - 25 Rumbling Water, Wetumpka Dominos, if you read this review somehow, please know that I love you, and that you will always have a special place in my heart. You all have always received me with the utmost joy and gratitude, you have been one of the greatest experiences of my life. -...
Read moreI will add the message I sent to customer service I sent last night to explain my rating. I am completely disgusted at this store. DO NOT EAT FROM THERE!
Yesterday I went to my local dominos. The gentleman behind the counter let me know while phone to his ear that my pizza will have to be made over due to garlic being added to the crust, after I requested it not be added. That's was not an issue for me. My issue is what happened next. He took the new pizza out of the oven and put garlic on it again. Still not a big deal, it happens when you're busy. After realizing what he did, he then proceeded to take his dirty apron and wipe the whole pizza off using his apron. I was in complete shock and disbelief. It was very disgusting and disturbing, to say the least. He brought the pizza to me, and I let him know I would not be taking that pizza or anything else from that store. This was a free pizza, and I was still completely too disgusted to ask for a new one. In complete shock, I didn't record. I wish I did because I would have posted that on social media to warn other people about eating from that store. I am currently 8 months pregnant and thankful I have not gotten sick from eating there because I'm sure this is not the first safety hazard from that store. I really hope this will not go under the radar and someone else gets sick and sues you guys. I worked in food service my whole life before entering the medical field and have never seen anything so gross. Nor would I have ever done something that nasty to a costumer's food. In the age of covid and other illnesses, you guys should really check into that store. I will also post on my social media to warn other people in the local area to be aware of that store. I will include in this message the exact store details and time so you can look at the cameras. I'm beyond disappointed and grateful at the same time I have not gotten sick eating from there, being that I had a lot of pizza cravings during my...
Read moreOut of 3 recent orders the first was great, so I chose to switch over from Papa John's a few minutes down the road. The second order was incorrect, but I thought it may have been a one time thing, so I ordered again in good faith and on the most recent order the pizza was totally wrong. When I called to explain the situation I was put on hold to wait to speak to someone. The gentleman who answered after I was on hold was VERY rude and tried to tell me that's what my order said when clearly I have proof of the order details in my email as well as the sticker on the box (supporting my claim.) I didn't even need anything for free or any replacement but this man's attitude was just so bad that I decided you know what yes remake the order because I can deal with an incorrect order but not an incorrect order AND a bad attitude. Sir, I also work in customer service in the food industry and understand that mistakes happen, but you had no right to speak to me disrespectfully. You start by saying that you're sorry about the incorrect order, not by sighing and then saying "what kind if pizza do you want?" I wanted to express what happened so it hopefully won't happen again, but you didn't even care and just brushed it off like oh you want another pizza? And if needed I do have proof of my order details, so when you told me that's not what my order said, that was just rude and completely false. The drivers are EXTREMELY kind and my first order was perfect, so I'm really let down by the two recent orders but more let down by the terrible attitude of the man on the phone. I hope you learn to speak to people kindly and pay attention to order details in the future so other customers won't have the...
