A Revived Fan of Marco’s Pizza – A Truly Outstanding Experience:
After a long morning of back-to-back meetings and an exhausting quarterly review, I decided to take a much-needed break and grab some lunch at Marco’s Pizza on Perry Hill Road in Montgomery, Alabama. Little did I know, this visit would turn my day around and leave a lasting impression.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and cheerful “Welcome in!” from a friendly voice behind the counter. Her enthusiasm and genuine smile immediately made me feel valued. As I approached, she asked if I was the supervisor picking up a pizza. I chuckled and replied, “No ma’am, I wish I could eat a pizza right now,” which made her laugh in return. The interaction was effortless and enjoyable—an experience rarely found in fast-casual dining.
She then informed me about the daily lunch special and handed me a Marco’s flyer, ensuring I had all the options available. We chatted for a bit, and I placed my order—a deluxe meat bowl for lunch and baked wings for supper. Her attentiveness and upbeat attitude made the ordering process a pleasure, going above and beyond to make sure my meal would be just right.
When I told her I’d be back to pick up my order, she confidently assured me, “I’ll have it waiting.” True to her word, as soon as I returned, my food was ready. She handed it over with a big smile and said, “Please enjoy it, and I hope to see you again soon.” That simple yet sincere farewell sealed the deal—I knew I’d be coming back.
If you’ve read my reviews before, you know that excellent customer service is what keeps me returning to a business. This young lady embodied everything a great customer service representative should be—friendly, professional, and eager to make every guest feel special. She transformed what could have been just another lunch break into a truly uplifting experience.
To the team at Marco’s Pizza: You have a gem 💎 at the front counter. Keep up the amazing work—I’ll be back for sure!

Read moreI don’t know if anyone will read and I don’t care. I work at Cloverdale Cigars and we have started ordering Marco’s pizza and a group of customers play dominoes and others watch WWE wrestling. We order three to four medium to large pizzas costing between 60 to almost 80 dollars. Last week they messed up one of the pizza orders , which happens. They wanted me to bring it back . I’m at work if could leave I would have picked up in the first place. I told them that , I wasn’t rude or ugly. The girls said she would reimburse me and it would show Wednesday. That didn’t happen. I called today and was told they can’t reimburse me without the pizza from a week ago . By the time I was done talking, this manager accused of lying, trying to con them out of free pizza and when justifiably said I’d have to take my business elsewhere, his reply was a rude tart GOOD! I get I’m not spending 1,000 dollars a week but 60 to 80 dollars a week and this guy wants to alienate a customer over one large pizzas costing between? If you are upper management at this facility and read this ? He did the same thing to one of our customers who was the one who came up with the idea to order from your restaurant. In closing this store manager did one good thing he insured that there is whole store of customers who would rather eat gas station pizza then order from Marco’s Pizza on Perry Hill Road, you got that...
Read moreI usually dont do reviws on fast food places but I feel like this place deserves some recognition. When I am Montgomery we always eat at Marcos pizza mainly because I have kids and they love it. I have never before ordered from the the store on Perry Hill but I happen to be visiting a relative on that side of town who suggested that Marco's Pizza specifically we went ordered the first thing that I did was take a look at the pizza make sure that they have put the crust Toppers on that I had requested man when I open the box it was beautiful I should have taken a picture but I didn't I took both boxes everything looked like it was supposed to look and the reason why I'm saying this or mentioning this is because other Marco's Pizzas that I've eaten at never add the crust toppers our pizza and I was really really pleased with that. The other thing I would like to recognize or give recognition to is a young man at the counter whose name is Eli he was wonderful courteous kind I asked for plates and cups because we were going to eat this pizza while on the road heading back to Georgia he was more than happy to accommodate gave us cups plates napkins straws took care of us and I just want to put his name out there he is excellent with customer service thank you very much Eli and thank you...
