Wendy's — Restaurant in Monticello

I recently ordered a burger that had lettuce on it. 24 hours after eating that burger I was so sick. I was vomiting, had diarrhea, my stomach felt very tight, I was light-headed, and achy. Wendy's is known for using romaine lettuce for their salads and sandwiches. Romaine lettuce constantly gets recalled for equal e coli exposure. Unfortunately because I did get sick from this location, I will not be going back. Honestly the whole situation has made me not want to eat fast food from any retail ever again. We came to find out that e coli I can actually transfer from person to person, just from touching a surface that the exposed person touched. Unfortunately I originally thought that it was just a virus, and my two young children also got sick because I did not Lysol anything that I touched. I ended up being sick for almost a week. I went two full days without actually eating anything because I could not keep anything down. Luckily it was not as bad with my children, they did vomit and have diarrhea. My youngest did complain about stomach pain, but my oldest did not. Now my husband is experiencing the effects of the e coli. He has vomited, become sensitive to smells, has body aches, chills, tight stomach,...

Ever since the remodel the service is terrible. Was there last Sunday at about 11:15. Two other people eating. Placed on order. Finally had to ask for drink cups. We ordered a double cheeseburger and a half apple pecan Salad. The hamburger came in short time. The salad was missing. Finally after a few minutes some lady that had been yelling at the workers threw a salad on the counter. I finally had to ask if it was ours. Yes they said and handed me the tray. Went to table only to realize no pecans or salad dressing. The one lady was yelling at the workers. Example. You expect me to do every thing, You better push orders out faster, when you show up you better work. None of the help had a smile on their face. Thought I would stop by to get dinner tonight and I pulled through the drive through and I told the lady I had two separate orders. And I was telling her my first order. And as I was getting ready to explain my second order, my husband was telling me what he didn't want on his burger. And the lady said, "You need to tell me when you're doing the second order". Okay. Lady. And she wasn't nice about it. Give me a chance. Damn. Didn't even barely have time to speak. Customer service through the drive through is horrible. Their always seems to be a issue.
