Fiesta Guadalajara — Restaurant in Montrose

TLDR: great food, bad waitress experience but would go again!

Stopped in around 8:30p for a late supper while on a roadtrip. Fastest chips and salsa refills ever!! Food came out fast and hot and DELICIOUS!! I had the mole enchiladas, my husband had a combo platter of Chile relino and a tamale. Food was amazing. All of the staff, with the exception of our waitress, was attentive. She stopped showing up after taking our food order. The margarita my husband ordered (frozen, regular Marg) had no flavor and wanted to swap it out but she never stopped by to check on us, just disappeared. I think she stopped twice total, once to bring us our drinks and again salt and pepper. Someone else brought us our food, and when she did there was an entire side plate of fries that we did not order. Then saw our waitress counting her tips at a nearby table. She did walk past our table a few times, never saying anything to us. The waitress that brought us our food eventually came and asked if we wanted desert and brought us our check and food boxes. She was very sweet and gladly took off the sub-par frozen Margarita when asked. But when we got the receipt to sign, the amount on that receipt did not match the updated or original amount (would have meant his frozen marg was $23 🤨). My husband flagged down another (3rd) waitress who was able to fix it for us. Pretty sure ours got missed up with another table but our card was charged and needed reversed. As we were leaving we saw our first waitress sitting at a table...eating a side plate of fries...

Would go back again, probably just an "off" night or poor waitress experience. Food was amazing. My strawberry on the rocks marg was great (real fruit = yum!), but our original waitress and my husband's frozen classic Marg were, well, disappointing. I used the restroom on the way out and as I was leaving I made eye contact with our original waitress. She just looked away. She was chatting with other wait staff. I'm assuming her shift ended and asked a coworker to finish our experience, but never said a word to us about it (either one).

I am aware of the staff shortage around the nation. We are on a 11 day road trip. We have had lots of different restaurant experiences and various great wait staff and have been generous with our tips. We still tipped a good amount tonight since the rest of the staff...

From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the hostess and server with genuine warmth. Despite the compact patio near the entrance, we found it surprisingly cozy and perfect for enjoying the ambiance with our furry companion.

The chips and salsa served promptly after seating were simply addictive. The salsa, in particular, stood out with its fresh, vibrant flavors.

Their traditional taco salad impressed with its perfectly seasoned ground beef and fresh ingredients.

As for the nachos, they vanished in a flash, topped with gooey melted cheese and all the irresistible toppings. My teens devoured it before I could have a fair share. 😆

The enchiladas were another standout, featuring flawlessly seasoned shredded chicken stuffed in a soft flour tortillas and smothered in their delectable sauce.

Fiesta Guadalajara exceeded our expectations with its mouth watering cuisine and attentive service. Our drinks were always full and food was delivered quickly. Without a doubt, we'll be returning on our next visit to Montrose. Don't miss out—make sure to experience it...

My coworker and I decided to place a to-go order for lunch. When she called the food in they were very rude to her on the phone. I went in about 15 minutes later to pick up the order, that they didn't even save in their system. I let them know I needed to place a new order, she was very rude. A few minutes later I went back to the counter to ask for 2 sides of guacamole. She ignored me standing there for 10 minutes, then finally said "do you want something". The guacamole ended up being $11 itself which is ridiculous. Another server brought up a to-go order a few minutes later, I was told it wasn't mine. Another 10 minutes go by, and the same server who took my order comes back up front. She points to the bag that "isn't mine" and tells me it is. Overall, they were very rude and snarky. I was very disappointed in what is usually great customer service...
