Mike and Angelo, sleep experts and all around good guys! I was in need of a new bed, I had my budget, did my research(it did help me), and checked out another mattress store a mile north of them first. First store my quote was $1650.00, mattress, box springs and frame. It was nice but way out of my budget of $1000.00 +/- a few hundred. And I had already given up on an affordable , adjustable , bed frame by the time I got to Mattress Firm. I left a very happy customer! I had a queen mattress, AND adjustable bed frame for $1290.00 !!!!!! I’ve played hard and have had a few falls on ice, snow, and steep hills throughout my 64 years. The minute Mike showed me the adjustable and I tried it, the relief off my lower back and hips was amazing! And the price was doable. Take your time, check a few other stores, then be sure to stop by Mattress Firm in Montrose, CO. It’s well worth it. I only gave them a four star because my mattress hasn’t arrived yet, holiday season and all. I feel confident it will be great but I’ve learned not to judge to quickly before I’ve tried it out first. January 12 2023 I’ve had my bed for 30 days now and I owe an update. I gave a 4 rating again on the bed. Had I could have afforded a better mattress, the 900 coil over the 800, I would have returned and upgraded. The 800 coil just doesn’t have the firmness I would prefer. It’s been a while since I’ve had a new mattress so, it’s a lesson learned. I still like the service provided and the quality of the adjustable foundation. I will return to upgrade when the time comes. Enjoy I thought I would share my experience finding good sheets for an adjustable bed. It’s a pain in the butt because I’m really picky about bedding. I am a 100% cotton with a Percale weave. Ladies, hot flashes don’t end after menopause… they lie! Lol! Flannel and microfiber is not worth the gamble. Not to mention heat retention. I went with Ghost Bed Sheet set. Do the research before committing. It’s not just about fabric and weave. Fitting is quite relevant. Especially the fitted sheet. It drives me nuts if they won’t stay on. And those contraptions that are supposed to hold sheets in place is not an option for me. Mattress/Sheet Suspenders LMAO! NO! I really like Ghost Beds, but they are quite pricey. I got a good deal on the sheets. The quality of their products are rated quite high, and consistent positive reviews and ratings. Cayden is awesome! First, before I rave about my trip... a little context of contrast: A week prior, I drove into GJ from Gunnison for an appt and decided to stop in somewhere to try out some beds. So I ended up at another mattress company, and tired from my drive and appt found myself just putting up with the fast talking sales guy, who did not take time to listen to my concerns, the product labels on floor models were (to his admission) incorrect (he "just threw something on there"), so I couldn't shop prices and features on my own, and he seemed too concerned with making a sale happen at that moment. I knew which mattress I was leaning towards, but was put off and wanted to spend elsewhere. I specifically asked a couple times for print outs with the two beds I was deciding between with details and out the door prices. I told him I don't have good memory and I need to be able to take clear info home to reference and make a decision. He ended up handing me two business cards with bed details scrunched onto card and smeared ink. :/ When I left I knew which bed I likely wanted, but knew I wouldn't return to that store.

So, I found the same bed at this Montrose Mattress Firm, and decided to go lie on it one more time to make sure before ordering. That particular model wasn't available on the floor (my fault I didn't read that detail online before driving out from Gunnison), but I'm SO glad I went!

Cayden was first off... very customer aware and attentive. While helping other guests on the phone while I looked around, he still checked on me and apologized for the wait... I didn't mind at all and enjoyed taking my time. :)

He offered a couple other options to try out and I decided still on the one I had found the prior week, which he learned he could order for me through his store. He allowed me to recap how I understood the sleep warranty, exchange options if needed, how the delivery timing works, and was just so lovely to interact with. A very nice young man, who is genuinely interested in your needs for a product that you plan to spend years using, and has a sincerely felt priority of rapport-building, not making a buck with no regard to the customer's needs. I purchased a mattress in 2018 from Mattress Firm in Forth Worth, Texas and recently had a sagging issues after 5 years of use. I want to the Mattress Firm store in Montrose, Colorado during the Memorial Day sale and expressed my concern with my current mattress. Ben and Cody at this store were extremely helpful with my concerns and needs! I was shown all of the mattresses that would best support my body. Ben Sawyer which is the manager at this store guided me through the warranty process with my current mattress. Within two days my warranty was approved. I returned to the Mattress Firm store in Montrose, Colorado and once again Ben and Cody greeted me and assisted me as the professionals that they are. Within minutes I had a new mattress on the way for delivery. Ben also honored the sale price on the mattress I purchased and also gave me free delivery of the new mattress and free pick up of the warranty mattress. I would recommend that if you're looking for a professional company that stands behind their products to give Mattress Firm an opportunity to earn your business!
