At the Main Street location yesterday. Placed order on the self order panel for only 2 large cones. Had to search for the number to match the ticket number which took a bit of digging. Went to a table we sat for almost 5 min waiting for the cones. Finally got up went and asked why it's taking so long to make two large ice cream cones. The self ordering seems to be unorganized. The poor guy that was running food out to the dining room was being ordered around so much by I assume was the boss was very confused as to where he needed to be watched the poor guy being told help drive thru then being told run food to a table in the dinning room at the same time. That just seemed so unfair to the poor guy trying so hard to keep organized. Need a better system or at least have him only working delivering to the tables. Also the mobile phone ordering ap does not work mine said location couldn't be found second time visiting this location second time same error message.table next to us asked if our mobile worked said no and she said was having the same error. Read moreWe go through Montrose several times a year. This was the first time we've stopped at McDonald's. We had a truck and trailer, so we're going to go inside to order. There were staff outside on break that mentioned the lobby was closed but because of our trailer tried to place our order for us and they would bring it out to us. They were very helpful, but the manager would not allow it. While we were waiting, there were at least 15-20 people that also wanted to go inside and order but left without ordering because the lobby was closed. I find it ironic that they don't have staff to open the lobby for customers, probably because of low wages, yet 15-20 customers get turned away from making a purchase and when staff are willing to go above and beyond to assist customers yet get denied by management, goes to show there is something fundamentally wrong. I understand there are new owners of this store. I hope you can survive these times when your management are turning away 30-50% of your business. Read moreA few weeks ago I went here at 8pm to order 6 McDoubles and 3 fries for my kids feeding them kind of late after hearing that my wife's grandmother had died and was informed they could only give me 4. When I mentioned that I had 3 kids who could each eat 2 they told me I was being rude and that I could take it or leave it. When I asked for the manager was laughed at and was told she heard the whole thing and was told to g leave. A second visit yesterday had me waiting 40 minutes for a manager to approve an override to change my order because the app expired because I was there for 15 min in line with the app open ready to go. With only 3 people in line at the counter watching the code on the app expire as well as being told that to use it I then had to go to the back of the line and wait for it to come back up again olnly to watch the next person in lines code also expire because the manager refused to come over for them.
