A couple of years ago, I tried this place and was very disappointed. Large portions and reasonably priced, but overall, bland flavors, greasy food and poor customer service kept me from returning. Today, I thought I'd give it another try. I ordered the exact same thing and sadly, nothing's changed. The sesame chicken was pretty flavorful, but it looked and tasted recooked with fresh sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The fried rice, as before, contained a tiny bit of egg (no other vegetables at all) and had almost no flavor. The pot stickers actually had enough grease in the to go tray to pour a small amount out and though the outside looked inviting, they were the most unflavored ones I've ever had. And after all that, the customer service was horrible. The person who helped me spent the entire time having a conversation (in another language) with a woman who came in behind me. They didn't greet me, thank me or even say goodbye. They basically asked if I had a to go order and asked if I wanted a receipt when they ran my card. That's it. I will...
Read moreWe’ve been here at least 10 times since moving down here. The first few times were good. The last 2 times were terrible! First of all, wonton soup should come with crispy noodles, they charge for them. Then it has no pork in it. It’s all vegetables, I’ve been to Chinese restaurants in about every state and never have I had it with nothing in it other than vegetables. Anyway getting back to the last two visits, I ordered war wonton soup because that’s the only one with something besides vegetables, and generals chicken, got extremely sick both times! The first time I thought maybe it was something else, then it was exactly the same thing the second time. Not sure what’s happening but they really need to fix the problem! I’ve asked a few people if they have had any illness or issues and they’ve said yes! When you’re in a small town you should really try hard to avoid issues like this, also charging for things just because you’re in a small town and you’re only one of two Chinese restaurants is just wrong. I won’t be...
Read moreRude hostess and salty food. Worst experience my friend and I had experienced. I wish I could rate 0 stars.
My friend and I went to Panda Palace today and we had terrible service and disgusting food. I had ordered the sesame chicken, fried rice, extra egg rolls, which was totally okay, wasn't salty. But my friend had ordered the beef and broccoli. It was quite salty, either heavy soy sauce or just a lot of salt in general. It was quite disgusting. So my friend had asked the hostess kindly about giving her a new dish. The lady had walked away and mumbled "Oh I know my food isn't too salty. I don't know what you are talking about" or something along those lines, but still did the request. This time a different hostess came by with the new dish, but yet again it was still salty. I had tasted it, and it was indeed not edible.
In the end, we decided that we will NEVER EVER come back to this place again and will just go to Dragon Wall instead. Panda's food never looked so good anyways. It always looked the same ugly...
