Subway — Restaurant in Montrose

I love Subway, I go there every day for lunch, same sandwich same drink, same potato chips. a few months ago, one of the women who work there that I never had an issue with has decided it is ok to lecture me if I have a single problem with any one working in the store. She has become loud and obnoxious, when I try to explain what the problem was she just speaks over the top of me. Today The girl making my sandwich was way more interested in the people coming in and out of the store, her friends, stopping to talk, make heart gestures with her hands, I tried several times to get her attention as she missed what I wanted on the sandwich, then she dumped the whole sandwich in the bin of cheese. When I said (to myself) maybe if you would pay attention you would not have these issues the other gal, who was watching me said loudly" We are all doing the best we can, we are all doing the best we can". I have more compassion than most I have worked this industry and I know how trying people can be, but if you are not going to pay attention to your customers, then do not lecture me about doing the...

The only reason I gave the rating i did is because of Will. He took care of me the whole time while other workers were too busy making food for themselves while the manager was yelling at them to get off the clock. The manager was also talking with a customer about a bad experience her son had and she said I cant yell at them while customers were there. When is it ever okay to yell at your staff? Before Will even came up to me a blonde gal came up and said i would help you but im off the clock, then why even come up to me? Will continued to work while his coworkers were shoving my food out of their way it didn't seem to bother him but it didn't seem right. Also when is it okay for and employee to cut off a customer in line when waiting to pay. I walked up to pay and the same blonde gal cut me off and payed for her food while I had been waiting to pay for a while. Will was amazing and deserves a raise. Subway has ALWAYS been close to being my favorite place to eat. The only exception being mexican food, of course!! 😉🌮🌯😁😍 The Subway crew here in town(at this point in time) are always very helpful and courteous even when I ask what seems like to me, to be a hundred different questions,lol. As well as being patient when having to make several different sandwiches, wrap's, salad's etc. for several different orders, they are very accomadating when you need veggies and different items on the side instead of on the sandwich or whatever it is that they having to make. I really don't have any complaints or harsh thing's to say about this Subway. They work well as a team, when they aren't short handed and always greet me when coming in as well 🙂 This is just my opinion however.
