Sinaloa Grill — Restaurant in Montrose

Not sure if we got food on an off day, or if this is the typical experience.

Sent my boyfriend to gets us food to go, as I was craving sushi and this is a new spot. Once he got there, my boyfriend informs me that they are out of all their sushi. Not a huge deal, but definitely a let down. So I switch it up and order nacho fries. The food was cold even though it was only a five minute drive back, fries were soggy, meat was very tough and chewy, and cheese was flavorless. I don’t think anything was seasoned at all. I couldn’t finish the meal, sadly the best part was the sour cream. My boyfriend got three tacos, which was $15 for the three pictured. One was literally just chicken in a tortilla which is their ‘chicken asada’ taco, no sauce, no cheese, or anything else. Cold and unflavored just like my food too.

Customer service was also lacking, as it wasn’t busy and he had to wait about 10min just to get his order taken. It took around 40min for an order to go.

I was so excited to try the "new spot in town," but it was a huge letdown. First, all the sushi has cream cheese in it; not a single roll without cream cheese in it. I'm also pretty sure the sushi is just shipped in; it's not made fresh when ordered. My friend and I ordered two steak quesadillas. When our quesadillas arrived, they were so thin we both questioned our decision; it was good and seasoned, I will say that. The atmosphere was nice, I only got the sushie but to be honest I feel like the sushie was missing the part of it that made it sushie. My friend ordered the tres caso roll and I got the Chipotle role and I swear that they were the exact same role. If I had to describe it I would say it was deep fried sushie missing the fish. I see how people would like it but...
