There were three cars in the Drive-Thru so I decided to park and go inside on my 30 minute lunch break from my job. I placed my order with the cashier who was very nice and helped me right away. Once he finished taking my order, the manager relieved the cashier so he could clock out. During this time, I was the only customer in the restaurant and the manager came to the counter a few times saying nothing to me even though I was standing right in front of him. My order was placed at 3:00 pm and I waited patiently until 3:18 pm. I then decided to approach the unattended counter and got a cook’s attention. I asked how much longer it would be. He informed me that they didn’t have any orders pending so he asked what I ordered and began to get my salad prepped. Another cook peaked his head from the back and asked if everything was alright. I shook my head and he called for someone to get to the front counter to assist. The same manager came to the counter again and I explained that I had been waiting for a salad for almost 20 minutes and that I would like a copy of my receipt so I could get a refund since I wouldn’t have the time to eat my salad before returning to work. He didn’t say anything, printed off the receipt and handed it to me. As a manager, he did not try to resolve the issue in any way. I then received a half salad which was supposed to be a full size and a packet of dressing. The manager did not put it in a bag with napkins, silverware, Parmesan crisps, etc. Two hours later, I was able to try and eat my salad quickly, however I discovered red gooey specks that appeared to be blood or something that was foreign in the salad. After all of that wasted time and energy, I was also unable to even eat my only lunch. I am very disappointed in the manager as the rest of his staff seemed to have higher customer service skills...
Read moreI cant seem so reconcile my experience here with so many others! My wife and I were traveling through the area and stopped in. We had a great experience! Our order was taken quickly. The food came up in less than 5 minutes. It was hot and fresh. The counter service was friendly, the condiments were well stocked, my soda selection was available, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean!
My next comment may not go over so well with some locals. If you skim through the reviews of any corporate type location in the area, you find a lot of low ratings. Even in reading this locations reviews, you find plenty with nothing but praise and then a 3 or 4 star rating....
We travel 40-48 weeks a year and see bad service experiences often. This Wendy's is far from a 3.5 star. It might be a local expectation thing. It would be much easier if the rating public first accepted what a business's premise was and then rated based on that standard. If it takes a singing cashier, discounted food, and table side entertainment to get a five from you Mr John Smith customer, then Wendy's will never meet that expectation....that's NOT what...

We pulled up to the little box you speak into and noone talked to us for over 10 minutes so we pulled up to order at the window and waited another 10 minutes at least for them to open it and we told them we still needed to order. We gave our order and paid and were asked to pull up to the door. We sat at the door for over 20 MINUTES before finally going in and asking what was taking so long. The guy filling the bags didn't even know about our order. He gave us 1/3rd of it and we had to ask for the rest of it 😪 This was over 45 minutes of waiting for Nuggets, fries, and a bottled water. I will probably NEVER come back to this location. I already have to drive 2 hours from where I live to get to town and run errands. Fast food, My A$$!!
