Friends of ours had seen their sign and wanted to check this place out, so we came out on a Sunday night. Much to our surprise the place was almost completely empty and staff outnumbered customers by at least a two to one ratio! This might explain why we had not even sat down and our server was already there with chips and salsa and wanting our drink order? Then again, service was super quick throughout our visit. We spent a total of an hour in the place and this included us perusing the menu, ordering appetizers and entrees, eating, packing up leftovers, paying, and leaving! In addition to being quick, our server was very nice and efficient. He stopped by multiple times to see if we needed anything or to get us more chips and salsa. The food was decent. Nothing was particularly great, nor was any of it of poor quality. It was just OK. There were also no special dishes on the menu. This is pretty standard fare for this kind of restaurant. We tried the Pollo Loco and it was a bit on the dry side: The Pescado dish was good as the Mahi Mahi was covered in a really nice sauce. The Enchiladas del Mole were disappointing as the Mole's predominant flavor was sweetness and it was lukewarm. Considering how fast all the food came out after we placed our orders, most of these dishes must have been already prepared and just needed to be plated. As a matter of fact, our appetizer came only about one minute before the main dishes which created a space problem on the table. Portions are very ample and prices are not expensive as we spent around $35 per person and that included drinks. Would we come here again? Probably not as we can get similar food at places much nearer to where we live, but this is not a bad place -- just pretty average.

Quite disappointed with the experience. I think this place is trying to position themselves as a bit more of an upscale Mexican restaurant, but the food quality isn’t there at all. I ordered a very simple meal and left unsatisfied. I tried their Casa Quesadilla with chicken and a tres leches cake. Since this quesadilla was one of their house specials, I was pretty excited to give it a shot. But, it really wasn’t good. There was very little cheese in the quesadilla and the chicken was both fatty and tasted like it had been cooked from a frozen grocery store pack. Super dry and virtually no flavor. The quesadilla came with a good portion of rice. The rice was okay but nothing special. Also quite dried out and the vegetables seemed to come from a can. Not much flavor here either. Finally, the tres leches. The tres leches was actually quite tasty and the only item I had that wasn’t dry. Nice amount of whipped cream and soaked well. However, I’m nit even sure if they make these in house. They didn’t remove the paper covering surrounding the cake when they put it in the takeout bag (so maybe they just got it from elsewhere). All in all, disappointed. Dry food and way too overpriced, even if portions are pretty solid. Not fresh. Rubbery chicken. Wouldn’t come back.

To start this review off the venue is at the base of a hotel. The restaurant is also located in Pittsburgh, PA. So I should not have been suprised at the taste of the food. I thought the chips tasted a bit stale and the salsa bland. I ordered the ground beef hard shell taco lunch special and the tortilla soup. The ground beef tasted as if it were seasoned by Mrs. Dashes season package directly from the grocery store. The seasoning was extremely salty and took away from the design of the taco. The rice was bland and the beans were as well. The vegetables did not look fresh overall the meal was not good. I would not recommend for food, but the bar looked great and so did the margheritas. I would go here to have drinks.

Odd location, but 100% worth it!! 🙌🌮 This spot is located in a suburban complex of office spaces so it can be difficult to locate, but once you know it is there, you’ll remember exactly why you want to go back for another round! Photographed is their Chicken Quesidilla, Chorizo & Queso and of course some Chips & Salsa 😋 My friend and I also had raspberry margaritas. The staff was incredibly accommodating to all of our requests and made sure that the food came out quickly, but be patient as it’s all made to order! If you like my reviews, you can find more of my writings on Instagram @EatingWithBrogan Enjoy, and happy chomping on those meals. This location is 100% LGBT friendly too, so take a date! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🙂

The margaritas & food were wonderful. I went with 3 other people and everyone enjoyed their meal. Two of us thought the chips could have used a bit more salt, but my dad was happy that there was almost no salt on them. Definitely a personal preference thing. The waiter was very friendly and service was fast. We went on a weekend for lunch, so the restaurant was almost completely empty, but some tables were blocked off to be safe for the pandemic restrictions and the staff we saw all had on masks at all times. I definitely recommend this hidden gem. It's so nice to be vaccinated and able to go out to restaurants without worrying.

We went around 3pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant was empty at the time. We were sat and served by Oscar, who took great care of us. The cheese and salsa were delicious and were served soon after ordered. The entrees came quickly as well and were also delicious! We would definitely eat here again.
