MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Mooresville

This particular location as with most of the other ones, but this one’s specifically is nothing short of exceptional.

It is unquestionably in my opinion one of the best pizza/salad places that I have ever been to.

I love being able to design a pizza or a salad on the spot with everything set up and an unbelievable amount of choices with some of them being unquestionably, rare and nonexistent in the vast majority of pizza places that I have been to.

One of my employees and myself wanted to get something to eat, and we were greeted with a warm welcome when we walked in the door.

Every single person was extremely eager to not only help us and take our order, but explain to us how it worked.

Even though I have been to other locations, this location unquestionably stood out!

I just cannot believe somebody cannot only just order a pizza, but ask for more of certain things and the people making it not only said no problem, but they were very careful to confirm what we wanted on it and how much !

I can’t think of one other pizza place only offers this!

The man and women that work here had such a good energy. I honestly think that a five star review is not enough!

Ordering two pizzas drinks and a little dessert. It was less than $30.

I love anchovies, artichokes & blue cheese on my pizza.

I’ve always had to make it myself, because I could never find a place that even offered these things.

This is the place to go. In my opinion if you want I really good pizza exactly how you like it or a salad exactly how you like it.

Is the next thing I’m gonna order when I go back to this location in the next couple of days but watching a different patron get one made my mouth was watering .

Has 101% endorsement and I would highly recommend this is the location that you choose if you want one of the best pizzas exactly how you like it !

I’ve been a regular customer of this mod location since it opened. I even worked there for a short period when it first opened. Lately I haven’t gotten the best quality of food or service. The time before the most recent, I arrived a few minutes early to the pick up time to which I was told it would be ready in the next 5 minutes. No problem at all. 10-12 min more passed and ultimately I got up, looked on the pickup order rack and there was my order. Apparently my order and I were forgotten about. The most recent time I placed an order for pick up (today) I walked in with 2 minutes until my order pick up time. My order was yet to be put in the oven. I’d understand if the store was busy, but when I walked in there was only 4 customers in the store, 2 of which were already eating and the other 2 were getting their order from the counter. I waited longer than I thought I was going to only for my pizza (well done cook) to be somewhat acceptable and my cheesy bread to look like this (I’ll add a picture). I understand that since my order wasn’t put in the oven when it was supposed to that you’d like to get my order out to me quick, but I’d rather wait longer for my food to cook than have to come home and throw it in the oven because it wasn’t cooked long enough when it was made. An employee gave me a voucher for a free pizza and a fountain drink to apologize for my wait and I was appreciative of the gesture. I love mods food and enjoy the employees that know me and my order by name so I will continue to eat there, but hope my experience is...

As seen by my review below I left a 5 star review after my first visit. Went back yesterday and a completely different experience. The guy making the pizzas was making them like last time, but a woman, who was obviously the manager took over. She was skimping so bad on all of the toppings and wasn't happy if we asked for more. I had less than a third of what I got on my visit last month. It definitely was not build your own. When the other guy started making the pizzas again, he loaded them up. Manager came back over about 10 minutes later with no gloves and talking on her phone and was restocking the toppings. Also noticed the selection of toppings was less than my first visit. Last time the whole line was one station with toppings, but this time they had been cut in half to have two prep stations. Very disappointed and now will probably not visit this location again. My suggestion to the owners is hire a manager who actually knows how to make a good pizza and give customers the best experience.
