Kev's Depot — Restaurant in Mora

My husband and I always try to eat local. We decided to give Kevs a try. Heading in on a Friday evening, not horribly busy. Ordered appetizers with the intention of ordering dinner if they were good. We ordered drinks. I had a can of Coke and he had a ice tea. The tea came and looked like oh I dont know the comparison, but it was clear enough to look through. My husband said it tasted like a "hint" of tea. So he told her to take it back and bring him a tap beer. The beer also seemed to be watered down, no head at all and not a single fermentation bubble in the glass. We had ordered 2 appetizers. They came over cooked and the sour cream dipping sauce was moldy. To say we would not go back is an understatement. I would not recommend them, PERIOD. I know a couple of the wait staff. I have eaten here twice since they have opened n all i have to say is... O-M-G!! YUM!!!!! I had the saturday special of prime rib. TO-DIE-FOR!!!! I told Kevin ive lived in the mora area off n on for 20+ years n it was the best meal ive ever eaten at a restaurant in the area.. Prime rib was simply PERFECTION! cooked to order n taste bud bursting flavor! Lol The 2nd time i ate their sweet chili burger. Again burger cooked to perfection exactly how i ordered it. Normally pretty decent food. Today not good. I ordered for pick up and the food tastes like it was sitting for a long time before I got it ( I showed up right when I said I would) its cool, the friess are over cooked, sauces were forgotten, and when the bag was brought out with the food the waitress was carrying it SIDEWAYS so all the food was falling apart & not where it should be.
